My family gathered in a beautiful log cabin to celebrate Christmas early. It was perfect! We brought a Christmas tree, gingerbread houses, and good food. Memories were made. I would definitely return. We loved it in the wintertime and can only imagine how wonderful it must b

Already planning a summer vacation here as well as Thanksgiving next year. Quiet and love the grounds/location. Much to do for all year round. You feel like you’re in a remote location yet you’re close to everything you may need. Can’t wait to return.

We stayed in the suit and had a great time. It was November when we stayed so not a whole lot to do outside but staying in the room and playing games in front of a fire was great. The room was gorgeous and we all slept great!

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the lodge (room #9) in early October. The room was nicely appointed and the bed very comfortable. The room also had a small balcony with a very nice lake view and a gas fireplace. The lobby of the lodge is an invitingly large open area with comfor

Hello, I'm traveling with 5 adults, 2 young ones (1 & 4 years old). Is there a comfortable sofa bed in the living room or somewhere for the 2-bedroom cottage? What kind of amenities does the hotel have - pool? game room? What would you recommend activities for the 4 year around the cottage? Your help is much appreciated. Cheers. -Jean
The cabin that we used had two bedrooms with queen beds and a large sofa/bed in the living room. There is plenty of room to add another rollaway if need but not sure if Lakedale has that available......depending on the weather and when you go there is an unlimited number of things to do around the lakes.....if it's cold or wet when you go San Juan Island is loaded with outdoor activities and nice little shops for browsing....there is also a hot tub and games and videos available in the main lodge so doubtful you'll be short of activities no matter what....

How much are the various boat/paddle board/ kayak rentals? How far in advance do you need to book? Can we bring our own Kayak? Can we bring bikes?
Hello Claire ! The rentals are $10.00 per hour. Only Lakedale vessels are allowed in the water. Weekends for the summer are filling up right now and we expect to sell out the season by the end of May. You may bring bikes however Lakedale offers " borrow a bike" program. Thanks for your questions !
