O'Casey's did such a great job in making our ladies' reunion (10 ladies) an enjoyable experience, recently. Cherith and Noella anticipated our every need, and served up such delicious breakfasts each morning. O'Casey's is charming and homey, yet roomy at the same time.

The main house is charming and the proprietors make every effort to contact guests ahead of their arrival and to make them feel at home when they arrive. The breakfast is served buffet-style (unattended during the week) and guests sit family style at a long table in the dining room. Breakfast choices and quality were good. We enjoyed our conversations...

We rented out the entire house for almost a week in September of last year for my sister's wedding...sorry I am just getting around to writing this review. The house itself is just gorgeous. I really love the outdoor areas especially. The proximity to the riverwalk and other San Antonio attraction is pretty good, few minutes drive. I absolutely love...

This is a great place to stay if you want to mingle with guests over a good breakfast. It's not such a great place if you value a big bathroom and lots of modern conveniences- or if location is important. The neighborhood felt safe, the place was very clean with many old house charms. We enjoyed it but are not...

My family stayed here for 3 short days and the place was perfect. As soon as we walked in, my wife said, "THIS is exactly what I want to buy and do. This is beautiful." Breakfast was ready and on the table by 8:30 every morning, and it was something different (and delicious) each day. There was also pastries left...

*note- we had stayed in April, 2013 but I cannot find that date on TA. We had a small family wedding and rented out 6 rooms- most in the main house, and the upstairs room in the carriage house. We originally made a reservation for one night only, because we were not sure if everyone would be comfortable at a...

I like the laid back atmosphere at Ocasey's. The rooms are quaint and clean. There are space heaters if it gets cold, and it did and the heaters were adequate. The staff is friendly and served a decent breakfast on the sideboard for self service, which I liked. I wish the coffee had been ready by at least eight instead...

I spent three nights in the Galway Room in late 2014. A cold snap came through San Antonio (highs in the 40s) and the space heater in the room was not up to the task of warming things up. Breakfast is supposed to be served from 8:30-10:00, but do not count on it--one day it was served after 9:00, with...

The location is pleasant and there are a few restaurants nearby. The house has character and our rooms, although small, were absolutely fine for the 2 nights we stayed (Kilkenny Suite). We were there over a weekend so breakfast was fine but not cooked to order - the hot dishes were left on a hotplate. However, the one thing, which...

I arrived in San Antonio planning to drop off my things and then hit the road to see the city. But I loved this place so much, I chose to hang out there and read a book from the porch swing instead. I got a great recommendation from the innkeeper for a place to eat within walking distance and walked...

“The front rooms with the balcony are worth the additional cost for the space. The stairs are steep, no elevator so pack a light bag!”

“If you book either the Kerry Suite or the Kilkenny Suite you have access to the wonderful balcony sitting area.”
 of 5 bubbles Barbara111148, 5 May 2015 | Read review
“The rooms with access to the front balcony are nice, but beware that it's shared with another room and the balcony may be noisy if you don't have both rooms booked. The kerry suite was nice because the access to the balcony wasn't in the extra room with the twin beds (where we had children sleeping). In the Kilkenny suite, the access is in the extra room with the twin beds, so we didn't want to use it for fear of waking our kids. Plus the extra room in the Kilkenny with the twin beds had a window into the main stairwell, that my kids would wake up if anyone turned on the stairwell light at night or tried to go up the stairs. If you have kids, I would choose the londonderry suite because it's extra room is ideal for kids, more so than the other suites. And, it's a quieter room since it's on the backside of the hotel.”
