This B& B is set in the old German section of town. The Mahor was built in early 1900`s. very nice rooms. The food and drink were very good, but the kindness and thoughtfulness of the two owners is even better. They truly wanted to make our stay delightful, and it was.

I met up with many friends for a college reunion in San Antonio. The King William Manor made the trip very enjoyable. The rooms are great. And some of us walked to the Park nearby for the Starving Artists Art Show. The homes in the area are wonderful for a walking "tour" and the bridge over the river to the...

We stayed two nights in the Plantation Room located upstairs in a beautifully restored historic home. Our suite had lots of windows and was decorated with soothing/calming colors and perfectly detailed. We had a very comfortable king size bed, a small refrigerator with bottled water and a jacuzzi tub/shower in the bathroom. Everything was very clean and it was very...

What a find! We enjoyed walking through the King William historic district, looking at the houses and gardens. Access to the River Walk was right around the corner and we walked it in both directions, upriver to the nightlife and downstream to a less developed section that had sunflowers, stepping stones across the river and egrets for quiet company. Due...

Joined 12 other friends at King William Manor who were in town for a college reunion. The room was very nicely furnished and clean, beautiful pool and grounds, friendly and helpful owners and delicious breakfasts! We were all able to all visit in the common areas--even played charades one night! Our hosts were so accommodating, even bringing over a carafe...

After seeing Austin 3x, we decided to meet two couples to enjoy a Spurs game, the Riverwalk, and tasty restaurants in San Antonio. The owners, Brian and Tim, helped our friends from California enjoy Texas hospitality with their warmth, charm, and awesome cooking. We loved the warm apple pancakes and bacon on the first morning and really loved the savory...

Did not get a good night sleep. Stayed in the Amelia room. The AC window unit blows directly at the head of the bed and is very noisy. There is a notice in the room telling you they only change towels on the 3rd day. You are not given an option. The breakfast was all store bought (nothing homemade). If...

We apologize for any inconvenience our guests may experience. In this case we do feel compelled to respond. In fact most things we serve at breakfast for a grup of 24 people are bought, but we have sought out the highest quality food service items for such occasions. These are not items you will be able to purchase at your...

From the service, to food, to accommodations, everything was excellent! The house is very well kept! Very clean - bedrooms, bathrooms, and common rooms. It has a comfortable elegance atmosphere. The decor is tasteful but there is a comfort level within the house. I felt very much at home here. The owners were very helpful with directing us to different...

We just returned from a one night stay at King William Manor. The location is perfect, it is central but not "too central". At the end of South Alamo was nice and quiet beyond the train that was every few hours at a distance (but I will say they provide free ear plugs for those that need them at night......
