I had a business conference at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, but wanted to bring my family along because none of us had ever been to Texas and it was my kid's birthday. Most of the other hotels around the convention center were a lot more expensive (some twice or more). I really like old historical buildings, too, so...

This boutique hotel is very well packed with fascinating history. For an architectural lover, this is a one of a kind gem, offering the opportunity to get a taste of how our past generations used to travel and rest. In a much different way than how we do today. The Crockett, however, has managed to keep this place updated, comfortable...

We stayed at the Crockett Hotel for 2 nights for a volleyball tournament. You won't find a better location than this hotel. Out the door and across the street and tons of choices for restaurants in the River Center Mall. Easy walk to the river, Conventiln Cenyer, and Alamodome as well. If you don't want to walk catch the local...

My husband and I went to San Antonio this past weekend to visit friends. We loved the Crockett Hotel! Our room, and the hotel in general, was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The breakfast that was provided was good and offered a variety of items. The only negative for us is the lack of a small fridge in our room....

Parking was a doozy! The have no free parking unless you want to pay 25 a day plus tax. They got us for another 130. If u do public parking it's cheaper but you run the risk of getting towed if the ticket isn't displayed correctly. I would only stay here again due to the close location to everything.

We arrived late in the evening from New Orleans and was up early for a full day in SA. We paid for the double decker bus, a great deal, so we could jump off and on all day and even a little the next morning as we had a full 24 hours in which to use the service. The hotel...

For location, price and quality, this hotel is hard to beat. The rooms are quiet, clean and well-appointed, although our rooms did not have a microwave or fridge; on the other hand, we didn't ask for those things. The breakfast is quite good. They have parking, so what else do you need? The ventilation is not the greatest so there...

My room was a tad smaller than most. But it had a view of the Alamo, was across the street from it. Just a block from river walk. It came with one of the best free breakfasts I've ever had. I only paid $89 by booking online. Winner!!!

First off, this hotel is a bargain. It's really convenient, right in the middle of everything. The Alamo is on one side, and a mall with a movie theater is on the other side. Ernie's Bar was fun, and the bartender was really friendly and fun. Then to top it off, tacos for breakfast! They also have continental breakfast staples...
