The Drury Plaza Hotel San Antonio North Stone Oak had free breakfast, free dinner, and up to 3 free alcoholic beverages per night, in addition to kind staff and a great room with a comfortable bed. A+
Drury hotel specifically this one is amongst the best hotels in the world not only for the facility but because of the staff Ever single one of them made me and my family feel welcomed made us feel special it is a wonderful hotel with even more wonderful staff
I was quite impressed with Drury. It was my first stay ever at one of your properties and our entire experience was marvelous. The room was spacious and clean, as was the entire property. The free breakfast, food and drinks for happy hour was very enjoyable. They allowed us a very late check out (2 pm) which is unheard of. Most importantly, the entre staff was welcoming and pleasant. We have traveled all over the world, and the service at this property was equal to any five star hotel weve stayed in. I am a member of Hyatt, Marriott Bonvoy, and Hilton rewards, but I will undoubtedly forgo those and choose a Drury property next time we travel domestically.
Our stay was great. The room was very clean and quiet , we were on the top floor. Breakfast and dinner food/snacks were good but was disappointed it was the same exact food every day, we stayed 5 nights. They didn’t even have a waffle maker. Kids liked the pool but it was pretty small and could get crowded easy.
We happened upon this beautiful Plaza hotel after we found that our Airbnb was in a unsafe part of San Antonio. We were frazzled and exhausted from traveling for 14 hours. The front desk personnel made us feel welcome and cared about. We were so excited to find out about the free breakfast (and what a buffet it was!!! Hot and cold beverages, multiple hot options, toast, bagels, danish, fresh fruit, cereals…) and the Free hospitality evening foods and drinks!!!! Please, if you ever are in San Antonio, stay here. Love this home away from home.
Great hotel with such a friendly and helpful staff. The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious and clean and a good complementary hot breakfast. There is covered parking and it's secured. You have to use a room key to access it and I felt safe parking there. There was a great pool but didn't have time to use it but will definitely make time when I return!
We stayed here as the location suited us. Hotel clean and tidy. Breakfast was ideal and the kickback was too. We used the pool area, it was quiet. We also used the laundry room. This was handy for us. We would stay again next time we visit.
Who are they hiring?Attempted to talk with housekeeper, shook her head stated no English. What if a safety issue arose? How would she communicate? nod her head and state no english as a fire rages on? big liability. USA first in hiring.
We stayed at this Drury hotel for 3 nights in August. Upon check in the clerk was unfriendly and somewhat rude. She didn’t explain about the breakfasts or the evening reception. The staff were far friendlier at the New Orleans location which we stayed the 4 previous nights. Same breakfast gets old fast when you’re staying multiple nights or in our case multiple Drury locations. We were looking forward to the Texas shaped waffle that a lot of other hotels have but that’s not available here. Laundry room and fitness room well equipped and clean. Our room was somewhat clean but there were black marks on the wall and curtains were torn. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Won’t stay here again.
First off, the stay is extremely nice, every single person we encountered had a great attitude and was happy to help. Overall the hotel was clean and we did not encounter any issues with the cleanliness. They serve a buffet style breakfast (unfortunately doesn’t change) and a buffet style dinner as well (rotates throughout the week what is offered). Each night you stay they serve adults up to 3 alcoholic beverages with their dinners. The pool is outside on the 5th floor. Well kept, and nice, but is small so it seems crowded. The only reason I can’t rate this place higher is the doors slam when closing, which is very loud at night. The walls are incredibly thin, so you can hear conversations easily. We moved after the first night because of a family that decided to be up running the hallways till 1am and each night after we were woken up by doors slamming, people arguing in the room next to us and people “having fun”. We stayed 4 nights and each night it was a different group making noise. Seems this place is a great rate with perks but it also attracts a lot of people with no consideration for others at night.…
