Rooms are large with full kitchen and "front" room. 2 TV's, full fridge, etc... Great location, service, people...even a rooftop heated pool that is hardly used. Breakfast is good, full and changes daily. Wednesday evening free reception with food, beer and wine...very nice. Also nice working area in lobby once breakfast is done it is quiet, clean with rive view....
Mark saved my day! I was on the courthouse steps 15 minutes ahead of a hearing when I learned security does not allow suitcases with clothes in the courthouse. I called the front desk (even though I had already checked out), and Mark the valet came to the courthouse to save the day and store my luggage at the hotel while I was in the courthouse for my hearing. Mark is amazing! Thank you to the wonderful staff for going above and beyond today!!
Great location. Right on the river walk, an easy walk to everything downtown. Staff is friendly. Rooms are huge. They fake you out with an updated lobby. Everything else is dated and dirty. Showers are awful. Shower heads were broken and toilets were stained. Tv reception was fuzzy.
Old building. We got a bigger suite than what we paid for so that was nice. I didn’t know you could park there so I paid $60 for 24 hours, to park across the street in a garage. The breakfast wasn’t fresh, dry hash browns and no scrambled egg. Jimmy Dean sausage patties. The bldg smells old and there was moldy ceilings. The lobby is hard to locate. For the money, in my opinion, you are paying for location and a suite size room. Not modern amenities. The rooftop pool has a nice view.
Unless your driver actually knows where to go, if you get dropped off on the street, heaven help you figure out how to get to the entrance. BTW, either walk up a steep ramp or stairs, neither easy with luggage. Front desk said to tell driver to go up ramp but if you’ve never been here, how would you know that? VERY frustrating, signs should be clearer when arriving from the street level.
Our valet Mark M was very friendly. He was quick to assist us right away as we approached their valet counter. He helped put my bags in the trunk of my car. This young man had awesome customer service!
Older property that is feeling a bit tired. In our group of 10, 6 of the 10 rooms had doors that had a nonfunctioning deadbolt lock. The lock did not line up with the notch so that was concerning. In my room (303) the door to the bathroom was hanging off the door jame and I had to pick it up to close it and then the door handle did not work. The carpet had not been vacuumed. The lobby cushions on the chairs in the dining area were dirty and stained. Breakfast options were minimal and this property does not offer happy hour each night like other HS locations. Only on Wednesday. The best thing about this property is the location. Other than that it does need major updating and TLC.
I stayed at the hotel recently for work and had to get into work very early. I previously stayed at a different hotel where I had to wait for my car forever in the mornings making me late to work. Bryan at the valet was so professional and friendly. He had my car waiting every morning without having to wait. Highly recommend using the valet service.
Older property but well maintained. Pool is small but great for kids. Breakfast options are minimal. Location is great for river walk and historical locations. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet parking was great.
Our room was spacious, clean, updated, quiet, and relaxing. The rooftop pool and patio was delightful. Right on the riverwalk, quick stroll to restaurants. Had never used valet parking before, but Mark M put us at ease with his easy smile and welcoming manner. He was an excellent representative for the hotel. No complaints whatsoever.
