There were so many things about Hotel Havana that we liked, the charming patio by the San Antonio River, the prompt room service, the comfortable bed, but unfortunately we will never return there. The walls are paper thin and the floors, the stairs outside the room, the bed, all creek extremely loud with the least movement. Every step you (or...

Wanted to show my Floridian boyfriend the wonderful experience that is the Riverwalk and Downtown San Antonio. Picked the Hotel Havana because it was located on the Riverwalk, albeit a little farther away from most of the activity. This meant we had a mostly quiet, peaceful walk down to the more populated areas, which was very enjoyable and quite romantic....

My husband and I were attending a show at the Tobin Center so I looked for a place near there to stay overnight. We both loved it! The staff is fantastic and the ambience is old world charm. The attention to detail, the decorating, the rooms are all perfect. It is an easy and pretty 15 minute or so walk...

I loved this hotel. Each room is a bit different! Beautiful old wooden floors. Antiques in the rooms. The mini bar is jam packed, and is a SMEG refrigerator that really adds to the ambience. This was a completely different experience than I have ever had in a hotel and wish I could have stayed longer!

Funky hotel filled with character. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting in atrium enjoying a beverage. Staff were super friendly. Room great with the best pillows ever - I came home and bought some. Would definitely stay here again.

The service is great. The hotel is a little tricky to find, but once you get there, you probably won't need to go anywhere else. It's right on the riverwalk. We were attending a concert at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, which is right next door. The hotel restaurant is very good, and the service can't be beat....

We stayed here to 2 nights at the start of the year. The holiday lights along the RiverWalk made for fanciful nights extending the holiday season. We enjoy hotels that show their age with pride. My husband was delighted that our dog could join us. It made for a very nice escape.

I'm honestly waiting for the other shoe to drop, because we've never stayed anywhere that we've loved so much! Where to start! The service, the lounge, the restaurant, the decor, the robes, everything was wonderful. SO much character, and everything was authentic, no cutting corners. Historical and comfortable. The best minibar I've ever seen, literally everything you need is in there....

Hotel Havana was a GREAT find! My husband and I do not really care for a “cookie cutter” hotel, even if it is a high-end property with “name recognition”! We tend to like a place that is unique in some fashion. Always clean, always safe, good service, etc. – but unique in some way. Hotel Havana fit the bill and...

The hotel is in a turn of the century building. Lots of veranda's on every floor. Floors and walls are original wood providing a feeling of the 20's. There is a restaurant which faces the river walk and bar that is open in the evening. You can get to everywhere by walking from this hotel. Although the taking the river...
