The room was very nice. Staff was accommodating. It was nice to have vouchers for Duncan Donuts to use. It was right across the street so breakfast was a short walk away. The location was easy to get to.
We checked in and the lady at the desk was very rude. Maybe she just had a tough morning. It was 11 AM when we arrived, and their checkin time was 3 PM. Okay, so we drove a few blocks away to visit the tour...More

Yes, if you like to walk it's probably 20 minutes from downtown. My son and I did it several times when we stayed at the Clipper Shop Inn. If you decide that you don't want to walk, a cab ride is only a few dollars.
