Can’t really fault this place. Good location on the edge of Salem, a good 10 minute walk.
The room was ample, very clean and quiet. A couple of good local places close by to eat and drink also. We would definitely stay here again.

Yes, if you like to walk it's probably 20 minutes from downtown. My son and I did it several times when we stayed at the Clipper Shop Inn. If you decide that you don't want to walk, a cab ride is only a few dollars.
