We have a daughter and grandchild in Salem, who live in a tiny, historic house. So, we need to stay near them when we visit. This B&B fit all our requirements for location and facilities. The owners only have three rental rooms, so you really feel like a family guest. The en-suite bathroom was large and modern, while still fitting...

My husband and I were attending a wedding at the Hawthorne Hotel and decided to look into B&Bs to get a more intimate experience. Nancy & Jim were super accommodating and helped us out in any way they could. Our experience was excellent. Next time we're in Salem, we will be staying at the Amelia Payson house again for sure....

The house was in a great location in Salem, walking distance to everything. Everything was clean, and cute and well decorated. Nancy and Jim are both lovely and made us feel right at home. And Nancy's frittata was AMAZING.

My mom and I took a mother/daughter trip to Salem for my 16th birthday. This was our first stay in a bed and breakfast and we couldn't be more pleased! Our room was beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. The proprietors were helpful in recommending dining and places to visit. Tyson, the family dog, was a sweetheart, too. We had a...

Nancy & Jim provide the perfect B& B experience. They are warm, attentive, fun, obliging and run an impeccable Bed & Breakfast. They sat up and waited for us after a grueling drive from NJ. They were patient and informative where to find a late meal. They provided scrumptious and diverse breakfasts set out with class and refinement. Jim helps...

Thank you so much for your kind review! We are working hard to provide a great experience. I am working on Jim's baking skills and we will be trying out new recipes this winter. Hope to see you and your daughter again-the shoe exhibit at the Peabody is fun!

Booked to stay here previously, but things got in the way, and we couldn't travel. Booked this time a year prior, because we wanted a great place to stay for the Halloween weekend. Could not have been better. Nancy and Jim are very accommodating, and as a result the guests also respond to both the atmosphere and the vibe. We...

Look no further if you need a place to stay while you are in Salem. The house is absolutely beautiful. I stayed at the Amelia Payson this past October during Haunted Happenings.
