My husband and I stayed at el Presidio while attending the Tucson Festival of Books. Perfect location, near U of A and downtown, but so quiet and restful. Flower-filled courtyard, warm hospitality - it feels like the Old Tucson, which it is. Friends joined us there and loved it. Quiet, private, but easy to meet at breakfast or outdoors and... More

Downtown Tucson has many interesting activities and delicious restaurants and the El Presidio B & B is a great place to stay to enjoy them. The Inn has interesting rooms and a lovely courtyard. During our stay we enjoyed several afternoons and evenings in the courtyard relaxing and meeting other travelers staying at the Inn. Breakfast was also a fun... More

We chose the property because it was walking distance to downtown area, close to light rail stop to get to University, and were delighted that it had its own flavor. Central patio reminded me of Central American homes. Breakfast was home-cooked, tasty and different each day we were there, and provided more food than we wanted to eat! Patti is... More

Comfortable, sweet decor, right downtown, easy walk to museums, tram, & restaurants. Creative, filling, & tasty breakfasts. Rooms are quiet. Bathrooms have an abundance of towels and sundries. Hacienda style inside courtyard garden is wonderful for sitting outside. Parking with a B & B permit is free on the street.

A uniquely welcoming place to stay in Tucson, full of charm and oozing with character! A wonderful antidote to the often bland experience of staying in a chain hotel. The owner and hostess, Patti, is a whirlwind of energy and full of ideas for what to see in Tucson. She prepares an exceptionally delicious breakfast which set us up for... More

We have to ditto what the previous reviewers have said about this bed and breakfast. Patti owns and operates a beautiful downtown historical home and gardens. Its location allows you to walk to many wonderful restaurants and the area feels very safe. We stayed in a one bedroom with a kitchenette that opens out onto the courtyard. It was very... More

My husband and I just returned from a VERY enjoyable stay at this enchanting B & B This place is an historic property which has been lovingly renovated in the territorial style by Patti Tuci, the inn's warm and energetic hostess. There are 4 rooms, two of which open up onto the courtyard, a lovely large cobblestoned garden, part shade, part... If you are going to Tucson, don't EVEN THINK of staying somewhere else. This is the only place to stay in that city. A lovingly restored Victorian adobe, which is fascinating in itself, features a beautiful cobblestone courtyard with little winding paths among the exuberant flowers and comfortable chairs on which to relax in the sun. We stayed in the... More

Charming little Bed & Breakfast in a historic Tucson neighborhood. Our room was perfect, quiet & comfortable. Our host Patti was very helpful in suggesting the best places to see & eat. Breakfast was different every morning and delicious as well (fresh fruit every morning, good coffee, some type of hot dish and juice). Within walking distance of several museums,... More

El Presidio is a wonderful little gem of an inn. It's as beautiful as it is charming, with all rooms set around a spectacular open-air courtyard will with flowers, a fountain, and places to sit and drink it all in. Hummingbirds flit from flower to flower. I stayed in the Gatehouse for four nights - a charming room filled with... More
