I enjoyed my stay! Though the bathroom was small, my room was very comfortable. Gabrielle took care of me. Thank you! I usually do not stay in Tucson but I’ll make sure to stay here if I’m in the area overnight. Plenty of parking for pickups and trailers.
On my first trip to Tucson I booked at the Four Points by Tucson Airport. I was expecting a typical airport hotel, but found that the property was very unique with a Southwestern feel, that had elements of a resort to it. From the Spanish tiled roof, palm trees all over the property and courtyard centering around the pool, it had a nice feel to it. My room had great views of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant was only open for breakfast, due to COVID, but they did say it was opening the bar and for lunch/dinner soon. I was also really pleased to see the hotel was taking extra precautions with hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel, facemasks, etc. Next time I'm in Tucson I will be back.
I booked a room at this hotel today on Hotwire and was told by a staff member (who corrected her chin-mask into a face mask mid-conversation) upon my 11pm arrival that they had "problems between systems" with Hotwire and that they were unable to honor the reservation. I was to call Hotwire and cancel, as they would be unable to service a refund request as well. I did not buy her story and figured that the hotel was overbooked. After driving 10 hours to reach this hotel, which I booked at a discount rate, I had to scramble to book another hotel. I contacted Hotwire and they confirmed that the hotel had simply overbooked. In all likelihood, they bumped my booking (which was guaranteed money to them), to take a guest at full price. I learned two things from this experience: 1) Although you cannot cancel a Hotwire reservation, the hotel may cancel the reservation themselves. 2) Four Points by Sheraton Tucson Airport is shady about their bookings. I understand that businesses struggle to make ends meet some times, but poor customer service must have a penalty as well.…
Upon arriving the check in area is clean and welcoming, we checked in Sep 4th and checked out 10 minutes later the hotel was dirty the carpet was absolutely disgusting and although it was 11:30 pm the cleaning staff was cleaning the room right across from us with a loud vacuum. I approached the girl at the desk and showed her pictures of the room she then showed a maintenance guy they both agreed the room was filthy. They did approve my refund through hotwire so we left and although unsatisfied I was not planning to write a review. However upon checking my credit card statement this morning I noticed that although hotwire refunded, Four points charge me separately for the room! I called and spoke to a girl in the front desk Carolyn I believe, I called back again and she transferred me to Michelle which said I should be receiving a refund and an email I have yet to receive an email and the customer service from both of them was terrible, they were not apologetic nor they addressed the issue properly I felt almost as if I was bothering them. I am just hoping they did refund the double charge. Awful experience save yourselves the headache.…
After driving for 12 hours straight I arrived at this hotel only to be told by a very rude woman named Kassandra that she can’t check me in because she can’t find my reservation and she doesn’t have any clean rooms anyway. She did not offer a refund or anything and didn’t seem to care that it was 2 am and I had no place to go.
