Leave it to Marriott to do everything (and I do mean EVERYTHING) right. We spent a perfect 4 days there with our family, including 3 teenage grandchildren. The service was impeccable, lots of staff always around and wonderfully trained; the grounds and pools were perfect and never too crowded; the patio was perfect with its fire pits and incredible views;...

Starr Pass is a great family resort. Fun water slide and lazy river pool for the kids. 6731 or 6741 are good rooms. Both have 2 queen beds and balconies. Kids eat free with paying adult in the main restaurant. Used UBER to get around and didn't have to wait for more than 10 minutes. Rooms have mini fridges and...

If you go on Orbitz, Hotels.com etc. this place only allows an option of "1 King or 2 Queens" booking with no ability to select which and implying you actually get to choose. You do not. When I arrived me and the person next to me were both told, each with 2 adults and 2 kids each, that we were...

Dear ExRIGuy, Thank you for taking the time to review our resort. While I can not speak to the specific web sites you mentioned, at Marriott.com the bed types are noted as guaranteed if that bed type is available at the time of booking or noted as a request if the bed type is not available. In regards to the...

Way overpriced for what you get. The service is average at best. Be prepared to wait a very long time for anything you order at any of the bars or restaurants. The location is far enough away from stuff that it's cumbersome to go elsewhere for meals or drinks. Very disappointing overall and we will not be back.

This hotel is fantastic but what puts it over the top is the exceptional bar staff. Bobbi and Chella head the crew of experienced wait staff while Ashlee holds down the bar (and makes awesome shots) This hotel is is fantastic business destination. Deals close left and right.

The JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass is a beautiful hotel nestled in the mountains with a great view of the valley floor. The rooms are very nice, they have a cool store, Starbucks in the lobby and a great spa. The employees and food was five star exceptional!

I traveled to Tucson for work meetings being held at the JW Marriott. The hotel is a bit out of town (about 20 minutes from the airport), but offers a great experience. The rooms were nice (clean, well-furnished, large bathroom). The lobby and hotel areas were very well-kept and spacious. There are many on-site amenities, with many of those geared...

This is a very nice resort that includes several pools, lazy river, hiking trails, golf course, and several restaurants. The resort is very clean and well maintained. The staff a friendly and helpful. I had a first floor room close to the lobby and the noise was not a factor. Because the resort is outside of town activities and night...

The setting is the high desert in the mountains. The theme is southwestern and the property and grounds are immaculate. I've had the privilege of staying at other world class resorts and this one has to be in the top 3 in my world of travel. Management and staff were very attentive without being overbearing. They separate conference center attendees...

This review reflects purely my personal opinion that the desert is not a beautiful place. This lovely property is surrounding by brownish-yellow dirt and mutant-looking cactus plants. The hotel landscaping was nice, if you like plants that look like they could survive the apocalypse. There were deer wandering along the hillside and other attendees at the conference saw wild pigs...
