I stayed here on business this October And I enjoyed the facilities. The rooms were spacious and it's nice to have a kitchenette. However the Wi-Fi was substandard. Video calls were all broken up And I couldn't get my work computer to link with the hotel's Wi-Fi. Even when doing the video call in the lobby didn't seem that there was enough bandwidth and I had to revert to regular phone calls. I would happily give this place a much better rating if it wasn't for the Wi-Fi.
The staff is great. When we walked in the room it stunk. Like sewage. We opened the windows. Sprayed with fabreeze. Ran the dishwasher, sinks and flushed toilets. Took some time to air out. The mattress sagged on one side. Had a sore back. The mattress needs replacing. We had to go get toilet paper and dish soap from the front desk. Paid extra for better internet and it was terrible. A total waste. A disappointing stay. I am grateful for the front desk staff. Not sure about the rest. Would have given less stars but the front desk was great and the rooms seemed clean.
I was automatically booked here when the Courtyard next door cancelled my reservation due to low occupancy during the pandemic. The room was OK and I liked the separate bedroom, however there were many negatives. The AC was extremely loud in the bedroom, as was the plumbing whenever someone in a nearby room showered or flushed their toilet. Speaking of the shower - the shower head was terrible. It had four patterns but none were just a simple, normal flow. Very bizarre. As well, I expected more cleanliness especially during the pandemic - there were crumbs on both the dining table and coffee table, and the floor could have been vacuumed better. Currently no breakfast being given.
We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past although this year was the first in a couple of years The hotel is in a good location Our chief disappointment is that the HVAC system is far too loud in the bedroom. Both my wife and I independently described the startup of the HVAC system to the sound of a jet engine. Not what one wants to hear at 2am. Another issue was that the elevator was dirty and wasn't vacuumed for the first 3 days of our stay. The evening receptions on Mon-Wed weren't the same quality as other Residence Inns at which we've stayed,On a good note that staff was very polite, courteous and helpful. However we will rethink about staying at this hotel in the future.
The rooms are comfortable - but we experienced noise from people sitting at the outdoor fireplace into the night. Breakfasts could also be better - eggs seemed very overcooked and just warmed up. They had a nice get together in the evening and pleasant staff.
