The room was not clean. There was garbage on the floor. I have no confidence that it was adequately cleaned after the last person stayed. The staff lie. Make sure you document conversations with names. The door did not lock. The staff were able to open the door to see in while I was sleeping.

Stayed here while attending a family member funeral. Called ahead to reserve rooms because there was a rock and gem show in town. Specifically asked about rooms together on the main floor and if pet friendly. Assured rooms would be together and absolutely pet friendly (as advertised on the website). Upon arrival were given rooms not next to each other and were required to sign a form the hotel WASN’T pet friendly and couldn’t have pets. No grass available if it would have been pet friendly. A big disconnect between front desk people and online advertising related to pets. One room was on the ground floor; The second room was on the second floor and discovered there was already someone in the room so had to get a different room. Breakfast was available but didn’t partake. Room needed some maintenance. Sink had a clog so drained slowly. Shower temp handle was barely holding on and made it difficult to control the temperature. Some mold developing in the bath because of poor ventilation. Recommend some Clorox to get rid of the mold. Beds were comfortable and clean. Small refrigerator and microwave in the room. This motel used to be a Best Western and is convenient to Catalina and surrounding areas. The room and bath were very clean but the a/c had been left off. To cool the room (with a cathedral ceiling) took 4 hours until it was comfortable however, the temperature high for the day was 110 degrees. Breakfast is basic but ok.

My review based on an incidental event that could happen to anyone. The place is adequate - clean and centrally located. I found it a little pricey for what they offer - BUT!! and this is a BIG but! We put our bags in the room and left for several hours and came back to find that the window on the parking lot (no screen) was open. Our things were OK but WHY WAS OUR WINDOW OPEN?? Then, during a rainstorm the lights went out - not the Inn's problem huh? But having security lights is their problem and there were NONE!! raining and overcast and dead of night and no lights and NO SECURITY LIGHTS. I was walking my dog with a cell phone which was about to go out and since there was no electricity, no way to re-charge. My friend went to reception to find staff lighting candles - no fire alarm if the electricity is out and there no security lighting. Staff didn't seem too concerned - "this doesn't happen very often" - but I would think that security lighting was mandatory. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!…

My wife and I stayed here for two weeks. Our beds were very good. The breakfast had several types of cold cereal plus hot sausages, precooked eggs (pancake style), hash brown potatoes and various breads, bagels and muffins (included with room). The wifi was good. The television had multiple channels but not all in HD. The electronic keys were a minor irritation because they had to be recoded at least once. There was a pool with a hoist for mobility impaired guests. Plenty of free parking. Quiet.
