We booked this hotel based on the reviews from Trip Advisor. Was a very traditional southwest decor and vibe. Hotel staff was very accommodating and the breakfast was decent for COVID times. Close to many things and 10 min to I 10 easy drive. You won’t be disappointed.
We did not like this place. We expected more luxurious accommodations for the price we paid! The floors were tile & very cold. Everything was clean, though. The bathroom was so tiny that there was barely any room to lay out our toiletries! The bathroom door didn't catch when closed & it was so small you could barely move around to close the door, as the toilet was jammed right up against the wall the door was on. The pipes rattled or it may have been the "iron" towel bar that made noise everytime you went into the bathroom. The Spanish motif was pretty... headboard & sink... if you're into that. It was also very tricky to find it. There was no access from the main road. You had to go through another motel's parking lot. Since we arrived after dark... it took us forever to find it. It had an interior balcony, but we were there when it was cold outside, so we couldn't use it. The only thing we liked was the comfy beds. …
Loved my stay here....nice room, great view from my balcony...swimming pool open and warm...hot tub working. Breakfast included and plentiful. Very ‘covid safe conscious’.... the only reason I didn’t give an excellent was due to noise....it is close to the road and early morns, can hear traffic and the garbage trucks....and some noise from neighboring rooms....was normally so tired from hiking..it didn’t matter as much.
The rooms are extremely clean & this hotel follows strict cleaning for covid-19. Fiji water, Wolfgang Puck coffee, and full breakfast with bottomless mimosas. Clara at the front desk took great care of us, after a minor issue with the shower. If she is not a manager, she certainly presents herself as one and seems to take great pride of this hotel. You don’t always find staff like that! She is a keeper. Anyway, the pool & hot tub look nice although we didn’t use . We loved walking our dog around the courtyard. It sure is a pretty, quiet, & relaxing place.
Had a one night stay here. Well maintained property. Great views. Room was nice with a balcony. Bathroom was on small side. Bed was comfortable but very high. Pool was open and has attached restaurant for breakfast.
