Pros: Attractive grounds and building Large pool Restaurant on site with an interesting menu, outside seating with views, and good margaritas Comfortable, clean rooms with decent southwest decor Despite being by the road, rooms are quiet Cons: Small bathroom (but clean and functional!) Maintenance could be improved Restaurant portions are small for the price (3 shrimp in the shrimp salad)...

Wife & I stayed three days in early January while we were reviewing Tucson as a possible relocation site. Our booked room rate was $104 (plus obscene local tax) but once there we discovered we could upgrade to a casita for four dollars more. The property would be a nice vacation spot for snowbirds wanting a break from northern weather....

The La Posada is a wonderful hotel that is a calm oasis. My family and I stayed here while traveling between two locations and it was a great choice. The hotel itself is cozy with a center courtyard that has a pool and hot tub. The décor, both exterior and interior, is Southwest and it is done well. Our room...

We made a reservation 2 months ago for a King bedroom on the lower floor since we have a service dog. We arrived at 4 and they had sold out all of their rooms. They finally found one which turned out to be a handicapped room with zero lighting, small, double beds and the soap was so bad that it...

Very satisfied with our stay at La Posada Lodge and Casitas. Lovely pool, spa and green space with nice landscaping in back. Attached restaurant offers nice included breakfast and a good happy hour with outside seating. Third floor has private balconies facing the back and altho front is a busy street, thick doors cut down on the noise and we...

We stayed at La Posada for two nights. The hotel is very quaint, and the grounds are well maintained. The pool was also nice and both days that we went there, we were able to find pool chairs to use. They provide towels out by the pool. They have a bar/restaurant on site, with happy hour drink specials in the...

Stayed in room 202 for 4 nights and loved it. The hotel is quite popular so a reservation is suggested. Good restaurant-- Gringos-- inside the hotel with great outside / inside seating. Room 202 had a nice balcony but you need to be standing to be able to see anything but the sky; the balcony's railing is a solid wall,...

We were traveling with teenagers so the room with 2 queen beds was very small. But the courtyard was pretty and the patio was nice. The pool had comfy lounge chairs. The restaurant Gringos was amazing. Very authentic Mexican with homemade tortillas too die for. Breakfast was included and very good also

My friend and I stayed here four nights. Our room had a patio and view of nicely landscaped grounds. The room decor was tasteful Southwestern with lots of colorful tile. The bathroom was small and dated, not ventilated, but everything was clean and comfy. The hot tub was great and the breakfast more than adequate, although I wish they wouldn't...

Beautiful room, though on the small side and an older motel. Comfy bed. interesting walk-in tiled shower. Architecture and decor more like New Mexican adobe style. However, a big downside was the next morning when maintenance men with leaf blowers, or better said, dust-blowers, cleared the parking lot of debris onto the cars. And ours was fresh washed and waxed....

I want to sincerly apologize for the unpleasent situation you encountered the next morning in the hotel .
