The room was fine nothing out of the ordinary, the real highlight of my visit was the night shift front desk young lady. I cannot remember her name Naomi or Noemi one of those two. She was very very attentive always making sure that I was provided with what I needed. she would go out of her way to make that happen for me and I really appreciate that.
Do not stay here if you need to sleep. Guests are up all night making lots of noise. Management wouldn’t do anything about it. The rooms are nice, but what’s the point if you can’t get any sleep due to noisy neighbors.
Having heard negative things about the Motel 6 chain, we were hesitant to stay here. After reading all of the positive reviews, we decided to chance it.... Good thing we did! The room we had was spotless! The kitchen items, the bathroom, everything was clean and good working order. And, for a room reservation with only a couple days notice, the price was good We were only overnight, but we used the refrigerator, microwave and toaster. There was no shampoo, so not certain if that is standard or an oversight. Towels are quite thin as are the sheets. The check in was easy and the clerk pleasant, although that lobby was saturated with that horrid hotel room fragrance. I so worried that our room would have that per-fumy smell, but not to worry, it was fragrance free
Don't really need to write a review, as the title says it all. Except for one thing: get a second floor room facing the street. Most of the parking is in the back, so things can get a little noisy at night. The pool area is nice, clean and has pretty landscaping. You are right off I10, so it's easy to get on and off the freeway. The location is convenient, just far enough south of downtown to avoid a lot of traffic. There are plenty of restaurants not too far away, or you can order in using the hotels "room service".
We stayed the night and the rooms are nice. They got our reservation wrong so we could not get our handicapped room. The guy at the front desk was not very helpful. He doesn't understand "Handicapped". That means the person can not walk!
