Dave is a quiet, gracious host and the property is comfortable and interesting, by which I mean it is not your formulaic approach to B&B. The breakfast was fabulous (thanks for taking care of our dietary restrictions). It's a relatively formal affair and is an opportunity for all guests to meet.

We loved this B&B in the Sonora Desert, the saguaro cacti are spectacular and the sky goes on forever. Dave was an excellent host with great suggestions for visiting and wonderful veggie breakfasts that were more than filling and delicious. Skip lunch breakfasts.Heartily recommend if you have not been to a desert, stay here. Very close to the Desert Museum... More

We loved Casa Tierra. Think of all the bed-and-breakfasts you ever stayed in. Wish they had coffee and a huge tea selection first thing in the morning? Wish the breakfast was gourmet with fresh baked pastries, fresh fruit, and regional (vegetarian) entrees? Wish the room had thoughtful touches like water and tea in the fridge, cups and plates, even plastic... More

We stayed here for Valentine's weekend. We had a lovely, romantic, relaxing stay. It is outside of town surrounded by the beautiful desert making you feel like you are in Saguaro National Park. The hot tub is under the stars. I feel the owner has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We even had a Valentine surprise. The... More

Casa Tierra was totally beautiful. Dave was wonderfully accommodating and a total pleasure to chat with over the delicious breakfast. My wife and I stayed one night, but as soon as we checked in we were wishing we could have stayed longer. Casa Tierra is quiet, the rooms are terrific (very comfortable bed), and our little outdoor patio even had... More

We loved our time at Casa Tierra. Everything was perfect. It was SO quiet and peaceful. Dave made us feel right at home. The central courtyard with the fountain running was very relaxing, cookies and snacks available at all times, the room (we were in Room Dos) was cozy and had a fantastic view. It was too cold for us... More

We very much enjoyed our relaxing desert stay. This B&B is so unique. Extraordinary experience. Loved sleeping with the exterior door open and the desert night air. The room was so southwestern. Comfy bed. Soft lighting. We loved the private porch and chimnea. So relaxing watching the sun set with wine and the star gazing. The inside courtyard was candle... More

This rustic B&B located away from the crowds of Tucson was an overall great experience. This location lets you see, hear and feel as if you’re living in the desert, but with the added bonus of a hot tub to watch the sunset over the horizon. About anything that you’d want is included in your room including toiletries, refrigerator, and... More

Just enough off the beaten path to feel like you are really in the desert amongst the saguaros and other cacti (you really are!) but only minutes from the national park, the Desert Museum, and many of the other attractions of the Tucson area. A beautiful house in the classic hacienda style, with very comfortably appointed rooms. And breakfasts far... More
