Very nice hotel but we had 2 days of meetings and couldn't get a wifi signal. Make sure you ask what meeting room you are in and specific if you can get wifi. Comfortable beds and very quiet. Good for personal travle

I've stayed here three times recently, and the Renaissance Providence Downtown is definitely my go-to place in Providence. The physical hotel is impressive, but it's the staff that makes the difference. ( And kudos to management for hiring such a nice group of people and training them so well). The good experience starts at check-in (very professional) and continues throughout....

We arrived at approximately 9:30 pm on a Saturday evening (at about the same time a performance was ending at the venue next door) and were able to check-in rapidly and efficiently in order to make a dinner reservation with friends. In addition to being convenient and efficient, our room was spotless.

Nice stay at the Renaissance in downtown Providence. Close to train station. Shopping and great restaurants. Very nice service from doormen to front desk. Nice restaurant downstairs. Great for quick bites and drinks. Will stay here again.

This has become my favorite place to stay, and the only place when I'm in Providence. Aside from it's location right next to the train station and Providence Center Mall, it's a beautiful, well-kept hotel. The reason it keeps getting better is because of the staff. I've ALWAYS been treated like I'm the only person in the hotel, and this...

Beautiful hotel, located right across from the Capitol building with some great views. Walking distance to a huge mall if you need anything. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and a large bathroom. The wifi was not great, ended up switching to data most of my 4 day stay. I guess this can vary depending on what you need wifi...

My husband and I were guests at the Providence Renaissance hotel this weekend. We had a wonderful stay! Everything from chick-in to check-out was easy and comfortable. They have great valet parking for a reasonable price. The registration desk staff is wonderful - especially our agent, Anthony. He went out of his way to make our stay memorable. Housekeeping had...

Beautiful hotel with a boutique feel. Location in downtown Providence is good. Parking in Providence is always difficult so you can either pay the valet or find parking in another garage which will cost you just as much. Valets were prompt and friendly. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms are very nice and especially nice if you get a view...

We only spent 1 night at this beautiful hotel. We were taking the train to NYC and the hotel is a stones throw from Amtrak so we could walk over first thing in the morning. It has been lavishly updated and everything about the place was really nice and clean, with comfortable beds and a decent shower. Our room was...

Excellent location for historic areas, dining, universities & shopping. Loved the swanky decor - especially the lower level lounge. The bar service was prompt. Pros: beautifully decorated & appointed rooms, comfy bed & pillows, great Aveda bathroom products, walking distance to eat/shop. Cons: surprisingly thin walls, pay-for-parking daily, slow valet (despite calling ahead).
