Step back in time to the glamour of yesteryear. This beautiful old hotel offers beautiful views from the room and a wonderful breakfast. The staff were wonderful and attentive. The Whiskey Bar is a must-do with wonderful craft cocktails. If you stay away from the main hotel, you will avoid the crowds that come for the paranormal thrill. I was...

My best friend and I drove from Montana and we of course HAD To have a tour of this amazing Stanley Hotel. Our tour guide was amazing. I think her name was Lilian.. she was a good guide and she gave all the information in a pace where everyone was able to ask questions. I didn't feel like she was...

We absolutely loved our trip and stay at the Stanley! The restaurant was great, we were also able to see the Paranormal Illusionist show performed by Aiden Sinclair - absolutely awesome! Do not miss. The ghost tour was also very neat, we can't wait to go back!

We loved the historical elements of the property. Brunch was nice and the restaurant was nice but what we didn't like was there were so many people coming and going. Visitors that weren't hotel guests. You had random people wondering around the buildings at all hours even though there are signs stating "Guest Only." We stayed in the lodge next...

We really enjoyed the illusion show! Top marks! The ghost tour was pretty good. The hotel stay was less than desirable. I paid for two hotel rooms, both with heating issues. My room was so bad the maintenance crew put a fan in my window to sleep with blowing cold Colorado March air into my room which only lessened the...

Great to see the site where several movies were filmed! Beautiful old building and magnificent grounds. It's a must see. Nice place to stay and to hold a special event! Stop by you won't be disappointed.

Went here for our 20th Anniversary weekend. Should have stayed at any other lodge, hotel, or motel around. For $250 a night, there should be things like a map of the property, a list of amenities, information about the restaurant, a notepad, a pen, and a heating unit that functions correctly. Instead, there was no information in the room, it...

My daughter and I stayed in October 2016 at the Stanley and wanted to be on the most "haunted" floor. I was told by the reservation agent that we would be. When we arrived we were not at all where we were promised. When we asked why we were told that reservations are determined when you arrive! We asked to...

My husband and I had a wonderful stay for our anniversary trip. We decided to visit in September due to weather and knowing that the Stanley was built in the early 1900's and it's lack of central air. For the age the hotel it is fantastic ! My husband and I had a great dinner at the restaurant and then...

The hotels famous so of course it's busy but when I visited in April this month it wasn't too bad I was there for an evening the service was very good I have no complaints on the hotel. For the price you might be able to find a more modern and spacious hotel in town. I might try that next...
