My husband and I stayed in cabin #2 on the river, and it was perfect! Randy and Teresa couldn't have been more welcoming! You can tell that they love Blackhawk Resort by just having a look around the property....the cabins are very well maintained, warm and inviting! The grounds are immaculate! The sound of Fall River flowing past these cabins,... More

Randy and Teresa are the most accommodating and inviting hosts you could ask for! I have stayed in their cabins three times now. The cabins and the grounds are immaculate. The cabin decor is rustic yet updated and homey. Randy and Teresa are excellent at making sure you are well informed about the area of Estes Park and all the... More

We traveled from Texas to Estes Park, CO for a family vacation and Blackhawk Lodge was the best choice we could have made. We stayed an entire week there and enjoyed every minute of it. We were in Cabin #1 which was nice and spacious. I can't say enough about how great the owners were, they went out of their... More

We spent 2 nights in Cabin 3 last week. The cabin is retro/rustic with a sleeping loft & a small bedroom. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment to fix meals. The living room was very comfortable with a nice fireplace. There is a lovely seating area by the river. It is only 3 miles to RMNP entrance & a... More

Spent a week visiting Rocky Mt National Park. Estes Park is a lovely town about 2 miles from the park entrance and Blackhawk Lodge was the perfect place to stay. Cabin is clean, cozy, private, well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and anything else you may need for a cook-out or a home cooked meal. Randy and Theresa are the... More

My family of 4 with 2 teenagers loved this cabin. We stayed in cabin #3 and had plenty of room for luggage, purchases, etc. Enjoyed having the opportunity to have our own fire, fish in the river, hot tub, etc. It was close to the Rocky National Park and close to Estes Park. Don't expect anything fancy - as it... More

This is our second stay at Blackhawk Lodges and we will return. We stayed in Cabin 1, which is on Fall River. The cabin is older but in very good condition with obvious upkeep. We have enjoyed the hot tub and sat on our private deck to ear meals and just enjoy the river. Randy and Teresa have been very... More

This was a wonderful stay. The location is perfect - near Estes and RMNP. I enjoyed being close to Estes, but away from the hustle and bustle of being directly in town. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed for a week long stay. We even had an elk in our yard the first night! Randy & Teresa... More
