Our room was bright and had great windows and views of the mountains. The lodge was right next to the golf course, and the elk herds were down on the course! We liked the quiet and the privacy best. The location was within walking distance of restaurants.

We stayed here one night on a Saturday after hiking in the Rocky Mountains. The hotel was very cute, cozy and clean. It had a great cabin like vibe to it, and a nice balcony with a view of the mountains. We could see Elk from our balcony in the morning. The check in was really easy as was check...

The Discovery Lodge is just right for us because we go to view the elk in October. This is the place!! It is a very clean, simple and rustic place, and comfortable enough for us. It's located adjacent to the golf course and walking path. The elk hang out there in abundance!

My husband and I wanted to venture Estes Park and were looking for something affordable to stay at. Discovery lodge was very conveniently located. We were able to walk to the downtown area from there (15min walk). It was a short drive to The Rocky Mountain National Park. The lodge was very clean and comfortable. It felt cozy. It was...

Dear Guest. Our locations is definitely one of the things we are very proud of about our hotel. We are so lucky to have a property in the heart of Estes Park and a very strategic location that brings our guest just a few steps away from must-see attractions and modern-day conveniences.

They've updated our favorite room. Beds are much more comfortable. Love that it is pet friendly. Great value. It's a little out of the way from the center of town but we get treated to elk that walk by the grounds! We could watch elk from our balcony or go inside to a cozy fire.

This is the BEST location in Estes Park to view the elk. The golf course was right out our lodge door where the elk like to hang out. We even had elf front and center from our room. We have stayed at the Discovery Lodge multi times. Booking early is highly recommended as they fill up quickly. Husband enjoyed fishing...
