Did a quick weekend trip with the wife and kid for my anniversary. Estes can be a campy mountain town but still has a certain charm about it and is a nice quick weekend away from Denver. This resort sits right on Lake Estes and has great views from most of the rooms. We ended up checking into this hotel...

I stayed one night at the Estes Park Resort during a quick visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly. The rooms were large and very clean. There is a lake adjacent to the hotel and the views were great.

We were wary of traveling with our 5 month old son, but we called ahead and found that they provided plenty of amenities to help ease our new-parent mindset. The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the mountains over Lake Estes, and in close proximity to the restaurants of downtown. We spent plenty of time in the hills,...

Had a excellent time. Except that nite we went to bar area to get a bucket of beers to take out to fire pit and sit by fire. Employee running bar kept ignoring us, then charged us 35.00 when menu said 25.00. And told us we had to pay cash, credit card machine was not working. He was very rude. I...

A friendly check-in and check out process, room was clean, and what I had reserved, always a plus. View from balcony was wonderful. Will stay again, and recommend to anyone who likes beautiful views, wildlife, and getting away.

We had a good check-in and check out and the rooms were just what we wanted. The elevator was broken though and we had to take the stairs each night we were there, so that was a hassle. The rooms were clean, had the necessary toiletries and extra pillows - I did not have to ask for more. We spent...

Although Estes Park was 11F with a wind chill of -6F, EPR was a nice place to stay during the winter. Staff was very friendly, price was good, and the view was exceptional. Good launching point for hiking trips in RMNP. Will return.

Hotel is a "lodge-style". Restaurant has amazing food and staff. Make sure you have transportation as no real taxi in the area and the hotel is a mile walk into town. Wind gusts of 60-80 mph kept blowing out fireplace pilot lights and fireplace "exploded" on last night. Great view across lake to mountains. Little to no snow in February...

We have stayed 3 times in the off season, but there is lots to do. The pool is in good shape, the jacuzzi is hot, the arcade has a pool table and air hockey while the kids shoot stuff, and there are plenty of fireplaces to stay cozy. Right outside we strolled around the lake, let the kids explore the...

Amazing place to see and walk through. Great for picnics and fresh air. The walk through the trails up the mountain is awesome! My 4 year old went nuts and would not stop hiking up. Great place to relax and let your mind go.
