We were in site A109 and it had lots of space, and a great view of the mountains. What a pretty spot. The campsite generally had a great feel, with sites spaced out generously and lots of 'walk to' sites meaning your car is about 100 or so metres away and you feel like you are out in the wilderness....

Best campgrounds in RNP! great views with lots of space between sites. Most every site had a tent pad, fire ring, table & has parking. Tent sites are located in some unique areas away from others, many with great views & have lots of bear boxes to use for free! Loops B, C, D have views of the mountain range...

We spent two nights here in July 2016. Our sight was in the D loop, very large with a large tent pad. Bathrooms were close by, but with open space around the sites, never felt crowded. This was our last stop on a 22 day road trip, and I had not researched much, so I was surprised to find there...

I lucked out and got the last campsite of the summer and boy, did I get lucky! Someone must have had to cancel because our site in loop C faced the expansive meadows and mountains, had shade and was close to the bathroom. We moved the picnic table to make room for our tent and had plenty of room. We...

First time there. I loved this campground, I loved my site. Deer walked through camp everyday. The place is huge yet you really don't hear or see many folks. Trees, hills and rocks all around. Only thing I thought a bit odd is they have wood and ice available from 5:30-8pm nightly only. But that is no biggy if you...

We stayed here for 3 nights last month in a motorhome and loved it. Very clean bathrooms (with electrical outlets if you need to charge a phone or camera) and a large sink for watching dishes. We loved the ranger programs at night and the kids got a kick out of the deer walking through our site. The shuttle was...

We just spent a weekend camping with two families in Moraine Park Campground. We had an amazing campsite full of tree and big boulders. D loop site 168. The little kids loved climbing and exploring the giant rocks and boulders in our camp site. Beautiful views of the park and surrounding mountains like Long's Peak. Easy access to trails and...

The Moraine Park is a short distance from the Beaver Meadows Entrance Station of Rocky Mountain National Park-Hwy 36. Take a turn onto the paved road @ Bear Creek Road. You will soon see the Moraine Park Visitor's Center a short distance up on the bluff to the left, the road that takes you to the campground is a few...

They did allow fires even with the high fire danger. It wasn't very deep into the Rocky Mtn park. We were only able to get one night here with a week advance reservation. You have to walk through others campsites to get to 115 & our picnic table was on a slant, making it impossible to stay seated on without...

My wife and I had the opportunity to spend 7 nights at Moraine Park CG in July 2016 thanks to her zeal for getting reservations. Great place and it will be difficult to find a CG that will match the views. We were in site 188. We woke each morning to a view of moraine park meadow and Longs Peak....
