We have four children ages 7 and under so it would be assumed that relaxing and vacation could NOT go together. However, our week at Lane Guest ranch proved otherwise! We, the parents, were able to decompress, enjoy nature, and our time without the concern of meal preparation or activity planning. Our younger children benefitted from the kind, responsible staff... We went to Lane Guest Ranch in July 2015 with our whole family! 21 of us! We had an amazing time! The horses and wranglers were amazing, the food was top notch and the activities were so much fun! Would totally recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a family vacation. The staff there are so accommodating and... More

We held the Family Reunion we do ever 5 years at Lane Guest Ranch this year. 50 family members, each of whom said that this year's reunion was the best ever, thanks to the folks at Lane Guest Ranch. The accommodations are extremely clean and comfortable. The food is TERRIFIC - even the foodies in our group agreed. The staff,... More

The bumpy, rutted dirt entrance "road" was our first disappointment, followed by broken down fences, cluttered equipment, trash, and cheesy 50's era cabins, all topped off by bugs in an aging hot tub. We promptly told the manager on duty that we were going to forfeit our deposit and leave. She confessed that this had happened before, explaining that it... More

Gorgeous setting, scrumptious food, friendly folks who will bend over backwards to make your stay everything you want it to be; if there's a better guest ranch anywhere in North America, then wake me up because I must be dreaming!

We just returned from a weeklong trip. The service at Lane Guest Ranch was absolutely impeccable. On our arrival day, our flight was delayed twice, and then cancelled. The next available flight our family of 5 could get on wasn't until 12 hours later. The staff at Lane went above and beyond to accommodate our late arrival and Aaron who... More

We were here about three weeks ago. This is our 4th time here. The food and service are the main selling points for us. The wranglers (all female) are very, very accommodating to us novice horse-back riders, we did appreciate the concern for our experience and safety. Fishing is fun, note you must buy a Colorado license, and they go... More

Lane Guest Ranch is an older property, started in 1953. It is just off Rt 7 about 25 minutes south of Estes Park, so in a lovely part of the country. It is a very good place for families and groups, although teens who don't ride mind not be as enchanted. There is a kids' camp each day 10-3 for... More

Our extended family gathered together here to celebrate our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. First, the good... High marks to the chef. Aaron the bar tender is awesome. Paul the photographer was really good at getting some great family photos. And if you like horseback riding and hiking, there's lots of opportunity for that. My main complaint is how hard it... We were there in 2012 and our group (24) could not stop talking about how great it was when we went to another very nice location inCanada the following year so we went back in 2014. It was as great as ever. The staff here is amazing. They are trained/selected for the highest possible level of customer satisfaction. They treated... More
