After driving from Crater Lake to the Redwoods, we looked for a place to stay before heading up Highway 101. The room at the Crescent Beach Motel was clean, average sized with a walk-in shower. The sliding glass door lead directly to the beach. There is nothing high-end at the motel. The breakfast was minimal, the bed was average, and...

Located on the south side of town just off the 101 highway. The sliding back door leads you right out to the beach. You are able to look out your sliding glass door and see the waves from your room. The room itself was small with a very small bathroom. The bed was comfortable. There were thick towels. Heater kept...

This hotel appears to be the only one right on the beach in Crescent City. It is clean and convenient. The deck on back of each room with chairs is a perfect way to end the day. The breakfast is just instant oatmeal packets and apples, but I really didn't expect anything else. It's enough to satisfy your early morning...

This is a great place to stay for a visit to the Redwood National Park. It is ocean front, and you are within a few feet from the beach. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are comfortable. The walkways outside the rooms are wooden, so it can be a bit noisy with people passing by. Rooms with a low...

The motel is on the south side of Crescent City and right on the beach. we loved our stay. amazing to be so close to the ocean and sit out on the deck. the room was nicely furnished and clean. Stayed here some eight years ago and the motel has been nicely updated since then. We were recommended by the...

We got more than we bargained for with this motel. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a great bathroom and shower. There was an incredibly friendly woman working the front desk who made us feel instantly welcome. But the real star of the show is the ocean. It was amazing to leave the windows open and just listen...

This is a motel that the pure pleasure is when you step out of your room door you are 15 feet from the beach along with a spectacular ocean view! Leave your window or sliding door open and you can hear the 🌊🌊🌊🌊! Not a lot of amenities but you don't need them. Staff is pleasant and friendly. A bit...

We needed a hotel to stay in to visit Redwoods National Park. We decided on this one because we did not have any other ocean front hotels in our two week itinerary. Check in was very matter of fact and not very welcoming. Not rude. Just not friendly. The room was suitable. It was clean but the bedding was uncomfortable....

Nice little motel right on the beach. Clean and comfortable, walls a bit thin (bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper - you will hear your neighbors). Close to Jed Smith Redwoods, Battery Point Lighthouse, and amenities. Each room has sliding glass doors that open to a deck on the beach. We saw a whole herd of elk come out...

It's an average older hotel that needs some updating. The hotel was clean, and it was quiet, all we heard was the roar of the ocean. Had some wine and enjoyed the view. The next day we went for a hike in the redwoods
