This place was flat-out AWESOME! My wife and I stayed here last weekend for our first weekend "getaway" without the kids in over 11 years. The room and the comfort was amazing! However, the BEST part of this place was the restaurant... We ate dinner there our first night, and it was phenomenal! Giuseppe was our waiter, and he was... More

We chose the hotel based on a personal recommendation from a fellow traveler and we're not disappointed. The hotel is downtown and about 1 mile from Old Town. Our room was a Deluxe King and was clean, bright and spacious. We ate in their tapas restaurant and were impressed. Their small plates were priced very reasonably, with several larger, upscale... This is my second visit to Albuquerque and both times I booked with Hotel Andaluz, the rooms have ample space with all the amenities, very clean and comfortable, all the staff are very friendly and their service is excellent from the valet service to the reception area or at the bar they all are doing their best to serve. This hotel should get five stars solely for the beauty of the lobby (and the library!) and it only gets better from there. Each room (this time we were in 1007--great views of the Sandias) is decorated slightly differently, accented with intriguing artwork, not homogenized at all. Friday evening we thoroughly enjoyed our happy hour with tapas on the rooftop... More

Amazing from check in through check out. Everyone gives their all to make your stay as special as you want it to be. The Mas restaurant prepares delicious meals and is happy to accommodate dietary restrictions. They use rice flour in most of their dishes. Our room was quiet and nicely appointed. Loved it!

We came over to New Mexico for my brothers graduation and booked a stay at hotel andaluz. This place is so hip and right in the heart of downtown. Jacqueline checked us in and was so incredibly accommodating. Her customer service skills were incredible. Great job hotel andaluz for such a wonderful experience overall !

The Hotel Andaluz puts you into another era of civility, beauty, and culture. We loved the restaurant and were especially charmed by the individual decor of the private alcoves in the main lobby. I have stayed more than once ;) The rooms are nicely appointed and beautiful. The restaurant and upstairs patio bar are amazing. The happy hour and tapas in your own little Spanish sanctuary make it for a must visit. My out-of-town guests also love this hotel.

Tapas! Beautifully presented. Many vegetarian options. Mezze platter had three spreads--beet walnut, roasted eggplant, and a very spicy carrot hummus--served with lavash sesame crackers and olives. Soup was carrot, ginger, curry with pomegranate and pumpkin seeds. Beautifully grilled long stem artichoke with goat cheese, and manchego cheese and membrillo (quince) jelly finished our tapa feast. Spanish tempornillo, Chili carmenre, and... More
