Every place we were in this hotel looked and smelled fresh and sanitary. On one of my trips in the elevator there was a very friendly gentleman cleaning the walls and controls of said elevator. I was truly impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful.
This is the most disgusting hotel I’ve stayed at in the US. I wanted my money back and wanted to leave. Everything about this place appeared soiled with dirt and human sweat. After this stay, I’ll never spend another night at a La Quinta. I would have been better off pulling into a rest stop and sleeping in my car.
This hotel had an early checkin which was perfect since I was staying after a rot canal. It was clean and had the nice mattresses I am accustomed to at La Quinta. All the personnel I interacted with were extremely nice and helpful.
Not up to the usual LaQuinta standards. We stayed here because it was pet friendly and close to the highway. But as soon as we walked into the room we were overcome with the smell of stale cigarette smoke. Immediately went back to the front desk, where their solution was to hand us a can of aerosol spray. That helped the smell for about 30 minutes. Cigarette butts behind the chair, it was clear that they don't enforce non smoking. They tried to blame it on maintenance having just been in the room, but it was the smell of a smoker's room. In the middle of the night we awoke to the sound of water bubbling up in the sink. The next morning when I was getting coffee I overheard another customer come to the front desk and say "the toilet in our room is stopped up." The clerk reached in the back and pulled out a plunger and handed it to him. No, "Oh no!" or "I'm so sorry to hear that!" So I guess this happens a lot? At check-out I told the front desk about the smell so we wouldn't be charged and they did seem apologetic and made a note, but they also didn't seem to find it all that unusual.…
The staff was very friendly and quite helpful. They did a great job. But the overall condition of the hotel is well beyond their efforts. The rooms had very old and dirty looking carpets (even if they may well have been properly vacuumed) and worn out funriture and beds. The place is in desparted need of a major renovation and refresh.
