Really, for the price, it's a no contest . A bit sketchy as you drive to it ( Aaron's furniture rental, dollar store ect. ) . My family gave me a teasing for the choice : but they came around. Good size rooms that are CLEAN and fully equipped . Real towels, free internet, and breakfast. We travel from tucson...

We stopped here based on Trip Advisor and were very pleased with everything. We had a king room on the second floor. The room was clean, large and updated with no paint or floor issues. We had a mini fridge and microwave and the bathroom had spa shampoo and soap. It was really chilly in the room when we checked...

Everyone, particularly the owner, was incredibly warm and friendly here. Mind blowing how concerned everyone was about our comfort. The room was big and comfortable and very clean. Fresh fruit and yogurt provided at breakfast, along with the usual suspects, including ubiquitous waffle maker. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it over much more expensive chain hotels

For inexpensive, clean, and friendly lodging, you can't go wrong here. Kay, the owner/manager makes Sandia Peak Inn a charming place to stay. She even bumped my room up to a king suite with a jacuzzi for a small fee, after I came back from a long hike up La Luz trail. The jacuzzi was heaven! Belgian waffles/continental breakfast spread...

We haven’t had a reservation for the night but we were welcomed like very old friends. We saw the good ratings but haven't expected such a warm welcome. The motel is directly located on the historic route 66. The room was very clean, perfect size, got everything we needed and the price was absolutely OK. The breakfast was very good...

None of the pictures do this place justice. The landscaping within the motel gr are just wonderful, and the décor in the room fits it perfectly. The rooms are gorgeous and very clean, the beds very comfortable and you have everything you could need. The toiletries are even spa soap and hair care, NO DISPENSERIES! We missed breakfast because it...

The Sandia Peak Inn is a delightful local hotel with beautifully appointed rooms, great breakfast with lots of options, comfy beds and pillows, wifi able to stream games and movies, and close enough to walk across the Rio Grande and enjoy the flavor of Old Town. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful after our long rive from Dallas. Only...

The Sandia Peak Inn is seemingly like any average roadside motel along old Route 66. Is what sets it apart is Kay. She is the spirit that makes it feel like home. Her warmth and hospitality go above and beyond expectations. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is superb. Do not miss trying her waffles! Highly recommend and we...

We enjoyed staying here for 2 nights last month. We had a spacious corner suite on the second floor which was clean and comfortable. The lady in charge was very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts gave sufficent choice. We liked the courtyard with its fountain , and the location of the motel on Central Avenue just a short drive...

This place was wonderful. I called to say we would arrive late(11pm) and they said no problem. We arrived at 11:30pm and they got us checked in and taken care of in like 5 minutes and our hostess was super sweet. The room was large and clean. You could tell that it was freshly painted and taken care of. The...
