The University Park Marriott is a full-size hotel right at the University of Utah campus. You have great views of the nondescript campus buildings but also of the beautiful mountains. The personnel are hospitable and welcoming - our business party arrived well before check-out time, but they were still able to find us clean, comfortable rooms. The bathroom was a...

I have stayed here several times. The rooms are nice, clean, the staff is friendly. There is an executive suite with limited drinks and snacks and a restaurant with fairly well rounded menu. Their salads are great. There is a Starbucks located in the lobby and it is within close driving distance to restaurants and shopping. I visit the University...

It was just an "OK" stay. I am a Platinum Marriott member and was a little disappointed in the customer service for that. The Concierge lounge had a good breakfast, but other than that the food was lacking and the dessert was just chocolate chip cookies that were so hard we couldn't break them. The beds are amazing, just like...

First the good: This hotel is in a good location, has a nice gym and pool facility, and the food at the restaurant was surprisingly good - fresh and reasonably priced. However now the bad: The rooms need a deep clean and refurbishment. The baths were kind of grimy, and the shower curtain had mold on the bottom. Housekeeping is...

If you're looking for a family-friendly hotel, LOOK ELSEWHERE! By far the worst hotel experience I've ever had! I have never been treated so unrespectfully as I have by the staff at this hotel. It appears to be a nice hotel with lots of amenities, however, I couldn't pay to get service at the in-house restaurant, the beds are tiny...

The bathroom had hair in the shower, candy on the floor stains on the sheets. We were on the seventh floor and had to listen to the boiler all night long. VERY DISAPPOINTED. The elevators are very slow.

Fine. Stayed in a small king suite. Good bed and linens. Curtain sheers in the bedroom were quite shabby, with their cording hanging out of the frayed ends, looking like little snakes all over the floor. I like to take a bath, but the tub has only a cursory cleaning - lots of shampoo, etc. stuck on the far wall...

Located nearer the hills west side near emigration canyon. Plenty close to activities and dining. A curiosity for some in our group were the box elder bugs. The hotel actually has placard which explain them, yes some were present in the building. Only one of our group experienced them and being from the East was a little put off by...

We got an amazing rate on the hotel during the Christmas holiday and were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice hotel tucked into the U of U research park. At first it seemed very remote but we found it's access to skiing and downtown very easy and quick. The staff was friendly and the restaurant / room service tasty....
