This Hotel was amazing! The staff was nice. The inside was so spacious and inviting. We had family coming in from all around, an there were wonderful spaces where we could all visit comfortably. The views were amazing. The rooms were okay, but the best part was how clean it was. I get totally grossed out especially in the pool...

First of all, the hotel is an architectural gem, with fabulous appointments---including a beautiful Chihuli hanging sculpture, over the atrium. The fact that the hotel is away from the city is a bonus as the waliking trails, and the University of Utah outweigh the cityscape (which is an $8 Lyft ride away). Secondly, and most importantly, the service. Every employee...

On arrival, late at night, even though I had a room confirmation, the Marriott did not have our room. We were encouraged to take another room and then had to pack up, store our belongings and charge rooms the next night. We had a confirmation for 4 nights. We had arrangements for a family reunion for the next night and...

Stayed at this property twice in the last five months due to snowy conditions and having to attend meetings nearby. Hotel/staff is great overall. Coffee maker in room wasn't the cleanest - thankfully Starbucks downstairs opened early! Better lighting in the parking lot would be nice as a co-worker and I slowly navigated our way through ice/snow at 6:30am.

My go-to hotel if available in SLC. The Marriott quality rings true every time. All the things I look for in a room,l with comfortable bed being #1. I had the best sleep for being on the road all week. Nice premium amenities like the the Concierge Room, In house Starbucks, and fitness area. Look forward to my next stay!

Convenient for the university and VA healthcare area, otherwise a little far from the action. Hotel is standard Marriott in my experience, which means clean, serviceable and some annoying flaws. All the plumbing is marked backwards in the shower, so you make it hot and it gets cold. No big deal, but for >200 a night in SLC they could...

We come to SLC a few times a year either for business or skiing. The hotel is always clean, staff always friendly. Close to downtown or foothills where you can go hiking, If you want to ski Alta and areas around there close and Park City isn't too far either, We will be back.

Kurt, Thank you for being our guest. We are fortunate to be located to not only all the culture and activities of Downtown Salt Lake City, but we are minute away from all the mountain fun you can handle. Be sure to check out our new menu next time you are in town. Thank you for your review. Steve

The basic reason i chose to stay here was because i had a business meeting across the street the following meeting. The hotel basically checked all my boxes, including clean and quiet. I was upgraded to an elite room with lounge access. It was late so there wasn't much out except desert. Breakfast the next morning was fine. I miss...

We stayed on February 18th, 2017, and loved every moment we were there. Our welcoming experience with manager, Jennifer, on the phone caused us to choose this hotel location for our stay. She was waiting to greet us as we arrived and saw to our every need throughout our stay. The front desk staff, Hadley and Isaac, were also incredible,...

The service from the time that we booked for Valentine's Day to the time we checked out was suburb. All the people we met at the hotel were so friendly and welcoming!
