We spent the weekend here and really enjoyed it. Staff were helpful. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a nice couch. The microwave and fridge were appreciated and the TV was a good size. Great views out the windows. It was right at Temple Square, Genealogy Library and Church Museum and within easy walking distance of City...

We stay here every year for our anniversary. We love the staff! The rooms are clean and comfy. It's close to Temple Square, City Creek and Abrevanal Hall. There is a UTA transit stop right out front, so you can get to just about anywhere in the city. We love staying here!

I stayed at the Plaza Hotel a few years ago, and recently stayed again while on business in downtown SLC. The room I stayed in had been redecorated and was similar to many downtown hotels I've stayed at in large cities. Generous in size and normal amenities. Every hotel room has beds, TVs, bathrooms. At the Plaza - and above...

This is an ok hotel in the best location for Family Research. Right next to the SLC Library. The Front desk staff are great. The housekeeping is a disaster. We checked in and there was someone's chewed up gum on the bathroom floor. Obviously not been cleaned. Waited to see if it would be taken care the next day, NOT!...

I spent four nights there while working at a nearby location. The location is convenient and the room was nicely furnished and contained a refrigerator. A restaurant is adjacent to the property and associated with it. There seemed to be a nicely stocked gift shop off the lobby. Wifi was included. The only item I did not care for was...

I stayed in this hotel cause the one I usually go to was fully booked. I can't really say anything bad about the hotel, but nothing great either. Feels like a 60's era hotel that's had some fast and cheap renovations in the last 10 years. ie: new wallpaper whilst keeping the popcorn ceiling, and old unopenable windows that used...

Great location , Located across from the Salt Palace Convention Center, This was our first stay at the Plaza. I appreciated the staff and cleanliness of the room. Take the highest floor to enjoy the view. The night shift front desk need more training she wasn't able to handle tasks in the same time or deal with which one fist...

This hotel has got to have the worst insulation I've ever seen. I really couldn't sleep. There was so much noice coming in from outside my door. My room was close to the elevator so every time someone walked out an elevator, I got to hear them. And then in the morning time, all I heard was "housekeeping, housekeeping", as...

I have stayed in lots of hotels, many of which were 'cheap'. I decided to splurge and stay at the RL instead of elsewhere 'cheaper' because it looked nice, and was downtown. It was a big disappointment. I've had better accommodations at half the price. Understaffed, and not fully finished on the remodel. The front lobby where we checked in...

I booked one night at hotel as I had a biz meeting 9am next day at convention center (across street fm hotel). $175 plus tax. Just Off plane and front desk tells me they have bad news. My reservation had been rescinded since I only had a single night reserved (flying the next afternoon as part of a multi city...
