The hotel has some decent attributes. We reserved th executive king water view suite, and had confirmation in hand. They didn't have it available at all. We ended up on the second floor, with a,small noisy room with 2 Queen beds not the vacation we had looked forward to.

I was pleasantly surprised with my husband and my stay at the Red Lion Hotel in Port Angeles. The bed was comfortable and the room was updated. It was clean. The TV was a new large flat screen and you can see that the hotel is working on updating the hotel. They aren't finished the whole hotel but our room...

Traveling through area. Wanted a view of the water so hubby could watch the ships come and go. We booked a suite so we'd have lots of room and a seating area. Ottomans/footstools would have been nice. We were on the 2nd floor and there were about 28 stairsteps from the parking to our room. But no elevator!! Hubby just...

Carpet in the entry was atrocious. Our shoes stuck to the bathroom floor. Therefore did not dare to walk barefoot! Breakfast was poor. I cannot possibly recommend and would not go back. Very dated. I would not return.

Loved everything about it! and great Location- right on the waters edge, walk on the ferry, walk a block to great restaurants-H2O, and a farmers market of wonderful local treats. Surprisingly enjoyable wasn't expecting such a modern decor.

A bit dissapointed. I got the impression that they were cutting corners. Common area carpets dirty, dirty grout in bathroom, old and scratchy towels, single ply TP, luke warm shower when set to max, only 2 skinny strips of bacon at breakfast. All the staff seemed nice though.

Excellent service, fine room; good breakfast buffet for those in a hurry. Location is beautiful (on the water) and the view is superb. The restaurant attached is convenient and provides excellent service and a good enough breakfast buffet.

My stay for a weekend get away from the busy city of Seattle was made so comfortable and enjoyable by all the staff of the red lion. I noticed from the front desk, to the ladies who cleaned the rooms, to the restaurant staff everyone really took pride in their job and cared about the guests comfort and well being....

Stayed for a spring break stay in the Port Angeles area in March 2016. Walking distance from the ferry and a variety of shops and restuarants near the pier. There is a walking path along the ocean which was pleasant to have especially if you have a dog. The rooms themselves were clean, comfortable, and cozy. The view was gorgeous!!!...

Very large rooms and a large flat screen. Beds were a little old but okay and pillows need replacing. Bathroom was clean but somehow the property felt a little dingy and dirty. Location was superb; balcony was literally steps to the ocean with a wonderful walking path. Close enough to town to walk to shops and restaurants. A la carte...
