Inviting, cozy, stately, comfortable. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Didn't want to get out of the bed. Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay again. Unfortunately, I was only there one night. I would have liked to have stayed longer.
Had the pleasure of staying at the 1842 Inn for two nights and were greeted warmly by Shirley who remembered us from a previous year.
Our room - Cotton Merchants - was large, clean and comfortable and situated in the Victorian Cottage.
