If you want to be wowed go here! We loved it so much the first time we had to eat here again on our second trip back to Gizo. The seafood is amazing and cooked to perfection. Any thing you have here will be good if not outstanding! They do accept credit cards which is a huge bonus when you... More

On my forth visit to a Gizo I stayed at the Gizo Hotel once again. Requested top floor with water views, this time we had our extended family with us and had three rooms. Wifi worked extremely well in this remote location. We lost power and water for a day but that is to be expected in a 3 rd... More

I would have to say that my most recent stay in the hotel was one of my most enjoyable! The new staff and management are absolutely terrific attending to all requests and always very helpful. Geoff, Greg and Becky are an awesome management team, always smiling and happy to assist. I spent a lot of time in the reception in... More

Had a short stay @ Gizo Hotel on work trip and I have to say "Thumbs up" to Becky & Jeff who upgraded me to a poolside upstairs room. The room was clean & had good running water for showers. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is such a convenient location - very handy to the jetty,... More

Stayed in this hotel on a work trip and I found that this hotel is the best in the west. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Great food served in the restaurant. Gizo hotel is a true home away from home.

This is not a review of the accommodation- just the bar and restaurant! This was my favourite eatery in Gizo- with fantastic stone baked pizzas and reasonably priced drinks! The atmosphere is fantastic with traditional dancing and music often on show. A great place to view the sunset over Gizo

The hotel staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help in any way they can. This is why I have given this hotel 4 stars. We were here for the diving so the place has everything we needed, a bed. The rest of the hotel needs a lot of work. Their solar hot water system stopped... More

This is not a resort by any standard. Rooms are average hotel rooms. one tv channel, local. Aircon not adjustable. 16C only. Solar power showers. No sun, or cloudy, no hot water. Food menu very basic. Maybe 6 a night to choose from. Not a lot of choice to go elsewhere either. Bar rarely has ice. limited choice as well.

I rated the property Very Good. I am referring to the while experience, not the building which is showing signs of wear but that's to be expected considering remote location. Had an unscheduled overnight recently and the staff were fantastic to organise our extremely short notice arrival. After a very long and trying day, the ice cold beer, friendly smiles... More
