We spend 7 nights at this wonderful resort. If you are looking for a dive resort with a white sandy beach, this is the place in PNG. Although some of the facilities are dated and would need replacement soon everything was need and tidy. Owners Dietmar and Angie did their best to make one feel welcome through out your stay....

I was hesitant to make a trip to PNG for all the poor reviews you read and hear about the country and I was even more hesitant to go to a resort that was so far out. I am so glad we took this trip! Lissenung is a fantastic place to do some supper diving and GREAT food! Beer and...

A magical place. White sandy beaches. Turquoise blue sea. Sensational orangey-red sunsets. Absolutely delicious food (with seconds if you are still hungry). The most incredible snorkelling within a few metres of walking from the beach in front of the dining area. I stayed for five nights and loved every minute. Peaceful, restful, tranquil. I don't dive so can't comment on...

The Diving Divas spent a week at this beautiful Island resort, Ange had been fantastic with answering all kinds of questions before hand giving invaluable info about negotiating through airports, and alleviating any worries about travelling through PNG. Ditema and Ange warmly welcomed us and showed us to our delightful bungalow, the food was plentiful and healthy with always a...

We stayed at Lissenung for 1 week in August 2016. It was booked through Dive Adventures (Nina Joost) and they are very helpful and professional. I recommend them highly. All the flights and transfers went without a hitch. Lissenung is a tiny island run by Dietmar and Ange, both of whom go out of their way to make you feel...

Take your shoes off when you arrive and RELAX! A welcome break from the stresses of working in PNG. Friendly staff, and an amazing house reef for snorkelling. Not everything was working as advertised (the outriggers were broken) but we didn't care.

This island resort is on a beautiful private island. Rooms were clean with rainwater showers. Food was great and Nosaki ran a good restaurant! The local staff were amazing and made my trip entertaining and comfortable. Dietmar, the owner, was welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed Rosy's night tour with headlamps. Guests would benefit from having access to some outrigger canoes...

Anybody who is disappointed with Lissenung will have made the wrong choice and only have themselves to blame. This is back to nature on a small tropical island with basic mod cons. With a max guest capacity of 14 people you are made personally welcome immediately. The food, service and whole operation is spot on. And the diving is the...

After a red-eye flight from Singapore to Port Moresby and about a 10 hour lay-over before the flight to Kavieng, I finally arrived at Lissenung Isl. where I was warmly greeted by Nosaki who basically gave me a quick orientation of the place and showed me to my cabin. Small little details like lending me a torch to get around...

We had a few days after a a work trip to Kokopo and we decided to fly over to Kavieng. Everything is very efficient and competent. We were perfectly looked after for the 3 days. We have 2 days of diving and the sites were among the best we have experienced. The boat is great and the house gear was...
