“The WORST hotel I have ever stayed at”

No water pressure and comes on hot / cold bursts. Curtains are see through and the light comes in all night. Restaurant needs a refurbish and only half the menu actually available (fish or pork). Wouldn’t rush back

It seems to be in a nice part of PNG and I quite enjoyed my visit. Staff are friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurant serves up pretty good meals at a good price. No complaints at all.

The last time I stayed here was 10 years ago and then it was a bit of a dump so I was surprised to find the Kavieng Hotel had smartened up somewhat. There are now a number of 'Executive' rooms on the first floor above...More

Only two real hotels in town, so not much choice. But US$250 a night-- and cockroaches, no toilet amenities, and meal service that's timed not to match the few air flights in and out of the place? At least there could be toilet paper in...More
