The rooms are spacious and very clean. Both of our rooms had magnificent views of Franz Josef glacier. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great, just a short walk to the main street of Franz. We'd definitely stay there again!

Clean sheets and bathroom, it smelt like freshly cleaned with bleach (at least I know it's been cleaned!). The room we were in had the car parked alongside the glass door and was partially sheltered. We got what we expected and a good night's rest.

Room has microwave and fridge and kitchen area within reaching distance of bed. Only one chair and one armchair. Only shelf in bathroom is in shower. Realty very different from web photos. But due to little accommodation in area it has to be acceptable.

This is a very basic but comfortable motel. It has everything you need except a shower that sprays a steady steam. It sprays in every direction except on your body and leaks into the kitchen. The bathroom is cheap. Something you'd see in a 1990's built caravan. The towels smelt like cigarette ash and the walls are thin, very thin....

Reasonable price for what you get. I left belongings behind and they are kindly posting them back to me! 2 mins max walk into 'town'. Beds were...

Stayed just one night. Was looking for a clean basic motel and that's what we got. Very close to all the restaurants and other services in town and a service station just around the corner. Loved the town.

The Alpine Glacier motel is one of the first you’ll come across when driving into Frank Joseph going north. It’s right behind a gas station on Cron and about a 2-minute walk into the small town. Anthony at the front desk checked us in and was very nice. He bumped us up from a queen to a king with a...
