Karen was a fantastic hostess wealth of information and served a lovely breakfast Great information on arrival over a friendly cuppa so any queries or questions you may have on the surrounding area I'm sure Karen will know the answers -- We had our own unit out with the main house which was well thought out and everything there we...

Karen helped us get the most out of our time at Fox Glacier. Her history as a coach driver means she knows the roads and attractions. Very keen to make sure everyone gets the best advice. Huge lovely breakfast and very keen rooms. Love the views, especially from the kitchen window.

Great B&B in a fantastic location. We were welcomed very warmly by Karen, with a cuppa in the main house. She was an excellent source of local (and wider...) knowledge of what we should see, and helped re-arrange the time of our helicopter flight to give us the best chance of a good flight. She really helped to maximise our...

Karen did a great job of explaining all of the paid and free activities in the area. She went out of her way to help with restaurant reservations and showing us where to get a million dollar picture (at 7:00 am). Rooms are clean and nice. Breakfasts are very good and give you plenty of energy for your daily activities....

My husband and I stayed here for a night and really enjoyed it. Karen is a wealth of information and very friendly. We enjoyed our lively conversation and her help in planning the next portion of our trip. The rooms were comfortable and warm. The views were stunning!

We had an excellent time with Karen at Mountain View. The accommodation was most comfortable, we had a spacious room with a fantastic views of Mt Cook and Mt Tasman. Karen was very welcoming and friendly. She gave us lots of ideas of what to do in the area, which enabled us to make choices about how we spent our...

Good location, only a few minutes drive to Lake Matheson and Fox Glacier town and beautiful views. However, the room was dated, overpriced and having to pay for Internet access was a let down. Karen has a great knowledge of the local area however, at times, we felt she wanted to set our agenda. We did not enjoy our stay.

A little disappointing after our last visit in 2010 as our room was looking somewhat tired and dated. The duvet cover was frayed and the TV was one of the ancient boxy types which only received a few channels. The car parking area consists of what appears to be gravel and ash and as a result it is very mucky...

We mostly stayed in Hostel for a budget accommodation since most of our time were spent on traveling and activities. When I chanced upon Fox Glacier Mountainview B&B during my planning stage, I told myself I NEED to book this, and I am proud that I did that. We spent 2 nights in Fox Glacier and 1 of them in...
