We were in a self-contained campervan for one night. It is a clean campsite, with clean kitchen and bathrooms. Free wifi was available. It has a TV room. Hot showers were $2 each, but overall decent experience. Brad was helpful.

Had all that we need in our double room. Kettle and toaster and utensils etc all provided in the room. The bed was medium hardness, had a decent sleep on it. Only downside was that the walls weren't completely soundproof and we could hear someone in the next room practicing his singing all night. If you get the chance you...

Like the previous reviewer, we were also there for 2 nights over Anniversary weekend. We might as well have been staying at a different campsite as our experience was totally different! Maybe we were just lucky that everyone our side of the wash/kitchen/laundry block was quiet, even with several groups of youngsters. We were on the Manaia Road side of...

This is a tiny campsite without much space to breathe. It is located in the middle of Tairua, which is a nice and convenient seaside town. The facilities are clean and the overall atmosphere is laid back (maybe too much). We just spent a couple of nights there over the Auckland anniversary weekend and didn't get more than a couple...

We camped here for 5 nights, it was awesome that we could take our dog Rexy who was off his run most of the time. The owner also had a dog so our boy had turns peeing on everything hehe. Handy that the camp was so close to the shops, water oh and the library so we could get free...

This central Tairua accommodation was a highlight to the welcoming community. The location was right off the main strip, which allowed for easy access to stores and restaurants. Not to mention the close beach entrances. Our trip in Tairua was extended to four days. We felt very much at home in the well cared for accommodations. Our room was spacious,...

We had a great time on this little campground. :) The facilities are a little bit old but clean and everything (except for the freezer) is working. The Owner is super friendly. :) The TV Lounge is comfortable and you can find great advices to plan your trip through Coromandel. For 30 Dollar (unpowered 2 persons) you get really good...

We definitely enjoyed our stay here while having a family trip away to our favourite place TAIRUA! The bunk room was perfect for the 5 of us, it didn't cost too much and we intend to go back again soon 😊

Woken every morning at 4am with trucks unloading behind us. No freezer and limited fridge space so we lost food. Manager had questionable behaviour with any young single girls camping there. Couldn't say hi to any of the couples. Manager encouraged noisey drinking late into the night. Go and stay in pauanui!

We stayed here with friends over Labour weekend, the camp is small and hopping distance to the small strip of shops and cafes which makes up the town. Facilities were very clean but you have to pay $2 for 5 minutes of hot water in the showers. Mostly, the facilities were ok but one major oversight was the lack of...
