A chum and I stayed at the Lavender Chalet for a couple of nights. Snuggled in an idyllic lush valley, this is a true gem. The hosts are charming and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. If there was ever true value for money then this is it. Short or long stay, make sure Purangi Gardens is...

What a memorable time we spent in the Orchard House! Funky and fabulous! The deck has a spectacular view of the bay below, easy walking down to the beach. Big bowl of beautiful fruit on the table as we arrived and when we left, Susan gave us enough to last another couple of weeks! Easy drive to Hahei and all...

We stayed a couple of nights here whilst visiting the Coromandel. The location and setting is lovely, right by the shore and surrounded by gardens and vegetation. From the outside the cabins look great. We were a little disappointed with the standard of the facilities though. The fridge had a load a left over food from previous guests (including some...

My husband and I stayed here in October 2015 for 2 nights. We were looking for a secluded place to enjoy a quiet breakfast in the morning and relax with a glass of wine by the water in the evening. This was exactly what we were looking for. We stayed in the Sunflower chalet closest to the water and loved...

Stumbled upon this jewel by accident while looking for places to stay in NZ. I liked the limited reviews about the garden at the accommodation so took a 'chance' ...and glad we did. First the place is a tad off the beaten path (my GPS stopped about 3K short of the location) but with only one road to travel upon...

Stayed at The Yurt for 4 nights and it was the best decision we made for our Summer in Coromandel on January. It's far enough from the noise and close enough to all the beaches! (Short drive or even walk to Cooks Beach) Lovely owner, free fresh avocadoes, plums and tomatoes - we arrived at The Yurt with a basket...

The orchard house was - generously sized, excellent value, had everything you needed, was in a beautiful location, had children's books and toys, had lovely hosts - with lots of yummy fruit! We plan on coming back again. Close to Hahei, including Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. The little estuary was great too and the family loved going for...

You will love this spot which is right where Captain Cook came ashore and claimed NZ for Britain. The water was right by our bach which was light and very comfortable. We loved the short walk to the beach, kayaking through the Pohutukawa trees.

We stayed two nights in the Lavender chalet and can highly recommend it. We would visit Hahei again just so we could stay here. Susan greeted us with a fresh loaf of bread and homemade 3 plum jam (the taste of which will knock your socks off!). She also gave us a tour of her magnificent garden, filled with fruit...

We stayed at the Lavender Chalet for two nights while on our honeymoon in NZ and had an absolutely wonderful time. Rod and Susan were such great hosts - everything was ready for us as soon as we arrived, and the space was exactly as described. There was a bowl full of spray-free fruit (picked from around the beautiful property)...
