We are a Los Angeles based running group who will be coming to Ecuador for the Guayaquil Marathon in Oct 2019. Every year we visit a different country to run a marathon. We have been to Ghana, Italy, Vietnam, Israel and Jordan. What makes our running club unique is that we run with individuals struggling with drug addiction and homelessness. We believe running can be a tool which helps depression and one piece of the puzzle to help stay sober. The group we traveled with last year was around 42, and We are guessing it would be around that number again this upcoming year. We are definitely on a budget and typically travel for 14 days. We are guessing we could only do a 4 day 3 night stay. How many people can you accommodate? Also how are your beds? We have one traveler who has a bad back and he needs a comfortable bed. Lastly how many people is it to a room? We have a couple people who need their own space. I’m still doing some research so I’ll probably have some more specific questions soon. Please check out a trailer from a documentary made about our team to give you a little bit more info on who we are. Google Skid Row Marathon. Thanks, Melissa

We used an agent but you could do it yourself and save a lot. En route, Quito wasn’t much fun wet, dilapidated but Guayaquil had really good fish in restaurants near the cathedral.
