We loved our stay at Napo from our first canoe ride to the very end. It was fascinating to be farther away from Coca and staying in hits on in a black water lagoon where mosquitoes don't like to go. The red howler monkeys serenaded us to sleep each night. The abundance of wildlife was wonderful and I just hope...

Amazing lodge. Service was better then the Ritz Carlton. Loved the experience. We took 3 teens, although not many teens my kids had a great time. We went for three nights, four days, perfect amount of time.

We, a couple in our 60s, enjoyed a five day stay at Napo. All of the staff involved in the centre were wonderful - fantastic naturalist guide, paddler, restaurant staff. We were delighted with their attention to our comfort and their keen and informed interest in the environment. Each day was spent on "expeditions", paddling along the creeks, trekking in...

skilled, knowledgeable, extremely hard working and proud. Our native guide spoke little Spanish, our "other" guide spoke some English and between them we learned about the wonders of the jungle, river and all of its life.

We traveled last year in May 2015. And choose Napo because it was run by the local tribe and we wanted to support local enterprise, as well as being environmentally sustainable.. The accommodation was excellent, as was the food. the guides were amazing, the local guide managed to spot so many animals and plants we would have never spotted. It...

Outstanding experience. Guides were top notch. Food was good. The expeditions were outstanding. Saw 72 different species of birds, 8 different species of monkeys, black caiman, anaconda, river otters. Simply amazing wildlife. Attentive service. Even reasonably priced internet access. Only suggestions: more availability of night hikes/exploration. Availability of bigger boots (US size mens 11 and 12 were in extremely limited...

Dear JDW25Wisconsin: Kindest regards staff Napo Wildlife Center, who strive to serve better. Thanks for the recommendations we will take in some. Additional in some nearby community Añangu encuenta points with two incredible sites for observation of macaws, parrots and parakeets. The only thing we didn't love was another family who were guests and glued to their cellphones the whole time, and the lodge did the best they could with them. Everything else was absolutely amazing-cabins, food, guides, tours, the canoe rides there and back. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

Tell someone that you went to a hotel in the Amazon rainforest that was only accessible by a 2 hour motorboat and an hour and a half canoe trip and it brings up images of a ramshackle and bug infested place. Let me be clear that NWC is the exact opposite. I had the luck to have a suite and...
