Booked a 4 night/5 day day tour from a Quito travel agency for $550 a person (double room). The lodge itself isnt that far from Coca (about 45 min-1 by motorized canoe), which is good for convenience, but its not the deepest lodge in the area either. This is one of the cheapest lodges in the Coca/Yasuni region, and overall... More

There are a handful of options for jungle lodges in the Oriente, but by the time I made up my mind to visit one, Yarina was the only lodge along the Rio Napo that had availability. In reality, it was probably the only one close to my budget anyway (yikes! none of them are what I'd call budget options, but... More

This lodge is located about 1 1/2 hours down the Napo river from Coca. It had everything that one would expect in a jungle lodge, -hot water(a bonus) -mosquito nets -electricity for 4 hours a day -good food -friendly staff What I've found in the past Amazon tours that I've done is, it is the guide that can make or... I emphasize the "basic" here. The cabins are spacious, clean and adequate. Because there is only timed electricity at night, there is no fan to keep you cool. The central building where the meals are prepared and served is a bit cooler because of the open sides. The food was all delicious and fresh. The staff was friendly and accommodating... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Yarina. The food was fantastic. The staff was super friendly & would do anything for you. The activities are all close by. The individual cabins are roomy & very comfortable with one exception. I know we are in the Amazon & in an eco lodge in the rain forest but after a day of... More

The lodge is in a beautiful setting, and for the price we paid (much cheaper than other lodges on the Rio Napo), we were extremely, extremely satisfied! Most importantly, all staff was amazingly kind and the food was absolutely delicious. And the cabin has everything you could hope for! Activities included : walks in the forest, fishing piranhas, nocturnal canoe... More

There are fancier places, there are places deeper in the forest (with more primitive accomodations) but Yarina Eco Lodge was just right for us. About an hour 'up-river' from Coca, there is a central building where delicious meals were cooked, bi-lingual tour guides, and guided walks through the forest. We saw all sorts of birds, flora, and fauna - a... More

First of all, I have to say my biggest regret about the Yarina Eco Lodge was reading the negative reviews on TripAdvisor and almost not picking this place. This place was AMAZING. I don't know where to begin?! THE ROOMS: First of all, this is the freaking Amazon. If you expect a 5 star hotel then why the heck are... More

I enjoyed my stay here! It was beautiful, the people were very friendly, and the food was delicious! The activities were really cool also, and it was nice that they had a translator that went on the activities with us.
