My hubby and I joined our grown children and their kids on Maui for a family vake. The lodging at Ho'olei was wonderful for families. The spacious rooms perfectly accommodated groups. Bedrooms were amply sized; beds were comfy. Bathrooms had lots of move-about room and upscale showers. Having an equipped kitchen with all the amenities saved a ton of money... More

A group of our friends were in Maui for a wedding and we wanted to stay in a central location with great beach access, a pool and lots of space for the 8 of us to stay. We ended up booking unit 24-6 at Hoolei through Maui Rental for 7 nights ($625 a night) and we couldn't have been happier.... More

My family and I are wrapping up a week at Ho'olei at Grand Wailea. We rented privately (and saved considerably over the resorts own rate). The condo is incredible. 2 bedrooms downstairs, 1 upstairs, an amazing kitchen and deck. Wonderful ocean views and a quiet serene setting. The pool in the resort is very nice. We briefly thought about buying... More

We stayed in unit 12-3 at Ho'olei. Words cannot describe how wonderful this place is. We rented the unit privately through VRBO so we did not have access to the pools at the Grand Wailea across the street, but we didn't miss it. The pool at Ho'olei is gorgeous, and nearly empty all the time. At night we would head... More

Stayed at the Ho'olei at Grand Wailea Resort for 4 days in April 2012. While admittedly expensive (paid $ 1,800 per night for 5 adults + 1 child), the quality of accomodations, staff, and facilities was outstanding. Strongly recommend an unit higher on the hill---ours was a deluxe ocean view unit---since some lower units have poor views and street noise... More

Visited Ho'olei for our fourth time and we were not disappointed! Hospitality of the staff and service were top notch as always. Condo was fantastic with all the benefits of home - best thing was waking up every morning and enjoying a coffee while watching the whales swim by. We are always amazed at the great upkeep on the buildings... More

Are you interested in "really" enjoying your vacation? Do you value the privacy that is just difficult to find in a hotel full of guests? If so, Ho'olei at Grand Wailea is for you! Sure, it's pricy as compared to a room at the Grand Wailea, but for us it was well worth the expense. It is just a short... More

My birthday group had the best time of our life at the Ho'olei Grand Wailea Villa Ocean View property. It is truly a top notch place to stay! I can sum up my stay in one word- AMAZING! From the minute I walked into the residence I was in awe of how gorgeous everything is and they got every detail right. My favorite thing was the sliding glass doors that retract completely into the wall so you truly have indoor/outdoor living. They didn't forget any details you have... More
