We absolutely loved our week at the Andaz. Of the handful of large resorts in this stretch (Four Seasons, Fairmont, Marriott Wailea Beach Resort) we felt Andaz was the most modern and had the best combination of pool setup and beach access. There are also a number of great complimentary activities like Yoga and snorkling we took advantage of. We also enjoyed this location for exploring Maui, with plenty of good restaurants locally, a great little town for lunch and beginner surfing in Kihei ten minutes away, and other areas you'll definitely want to explore like Paia and Lehaina just about a 30 minute drive. Would definitely recommend the Andaz for couples looking to get away!

Beautiful resort, clear that it is new, great food, incredible service. 4 pools, one adults only and one favored by the kids. Great pool decks, service. Beach is small, for those who want mostly sand time.

We stayed in March for a week and loved the Andaz. It is worth noting it is expensive but we booked a year in advance and didn’t pay the nightly fees I have seen in some reviews. Hotel is beautiful, cleaned every day, complimentary mini bar (replaced every day) reusable water bottles, nice toiletries. When we arrived the reception had given us a free upgrade to an ocean view room overlooking the tranquility pool. Lots of pools, meant lots of beds and different styles for all age groups. The guys at the beach were brilliant and always really helpful. Loved the style of the hotel and room. Some reviews have mentioned it needs a bit of an upgrade but I honestly didn’t notice anything that stood out. There were a couple of cons during our stay - arrived into the hotel and decided to grab a bite at the pool bar…ordered about an hour before their closing time but when the food came out they decided that was the time to lower the parasols (whilst we were eating) which was still quite hot in the Hawaiian sun. The other con is the smell of marijuana in the lifts - not sure there is much that can be done about it, or the fault of the hotel… Things to note: resort fees are on the higher side and need to add on tax: the island market is about a 15min walk which is fine, but again midday sun can make it uncomfortable. Whales on display off in the distance at the beach - saw them a few times around 5pm, and snorkelling at the Andaz beach saw a couple of sea turtles. All in all, highly recommend - however the USA is getting a bit too expensive so i imagine it will be a while before we make it back…

This was our 4th time staying at ANDZ and it was outstanding as usual. The property and grounds are immaculate and the staff is super accommodating to your every need! It is close to the beach and the Shops at Wailea so you don't really need to go far to experience Maui at its finest. We will definitely be back - don't miss this gem !

A stayvacation. Lovely hotel. Exceptional pool and comfortable beds. The staff at breakfast were so kind and helpful. I will return. The valet of $50 was however much Overpriced! I did not appreciate the fact that I was talking poolside and asked nit yo look at luau. I wasn't. I was chatting privately with my friend. If you don't want guest to watch the luau put it in a ball room. That was rude.

Expensive food/drink, but great service and friendly staff. Location to all activities and beach are great. Hotel rooms with king bed have funky layout, shower is in the middle of the room with only a single sink, limited counter space.

This was our second time staying at the Andaz Maui, and similar to our first stay, everything was phenomenal! We brought our 18-month old, and they could not have been more accommodating. In addition to a crib, they were able to provide a bathtub and diaper pail which were so helpful. There are 5 pools total, including a kid-friendly pool and an adults only pool so no matter what kind of trip you are planning, the Andaz would be the perfect place for it. Everyone on the staff here provided exceptional service, including the valets, the front desk, the beach/pool crew, the restaurant staff, and HOUSEKEEPING! Jeremy at the front desk was especially helpful. Housekeeping had amazing attention to detail, they are very thorough, and there was not a single item out of place after they came through each day. All requests were fulfilled within 10 minutes. We were celebrating our anniversary and babymoon, and the staff went out of their way to acknowledge and help us celebrate. This was very appreciated! Despite being fairly full, they also acknowledged our Hyatt status which was amazing. Also, even though it was a very popular place to stay during the week we were there, the hotel never felt too crowded. One of the days was rainy, but we still enjoyed ourselves just hanging out in the hotel room or lobby. Breakfast buffet at Ka'naa Kitchen was one of the highlights of our stay. They serve a wide variety of foods, including items that rotated daily. Some of our favorites included the stir fry noodles, kimchee fried rice, masaladas, mochi waffles, chicken apple sausage, made-to-order omelets, and the juice bar. The furikake fries at Bumbye beach bar are to die for! Included in the resort fee is a large number of daily classes and activities, like lei making, kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding. We couldn't do a lot of the ocean water sports with a toddler, but we enjoyed the lei making class and poolside Bingo (which comes with real prizes!). Other highlights include the amazing views from pretty much anywhere on the property, as well as the delightful lavender lemonade. We miss the Andaz already and hope to return again next year! …

The Andaz is in top form. The property is sleek and laid out beautifully. Multiple pools, bars, restaurants- all top notch. The rooms were large and beautiful. Beach is incredible. Staff very friendly . Not a single negative comment.

This Resort has a modern presentation. They have Great pool and beach service. Highly recommended for family trips. The Luau is amazing. We enjoyed a photography session that was proposed by the resort. Wonderful way to capture great memories.
