The hotel is in the center of Cienguegos. We had an absolutely huge room, lounge and bathroom and it is good to have plenty of space. It has a very nice pool, where you can get a good massage for 15ps for half hour. There is a great roof terrace with bar. They charged us extra for use of the...

La Union was the third Cuban hotel we stayed at during a ten day visit. Generally expectations in this country are low because they're still learning what is considered normal quality by most travellers; however this was, by any standards, a good stay. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Very professional, nothing too much trouble. Dinner was fine. The...

Lovely hotel, although being in the centre of town is great --- it has it's downsides. We discovered that Cubans want to party like its 1999 on a Wednesday until 4:30AM. Our suite was located opposite a night club, there is zero sound insulation, so you might as well be sleeping on the street. The hotel itself was the best...

Hotel in good location close to the main square in Cienfuegos. Has lovely rooftop bar with great views. Pool, on a lower floor, is good also. Breakfast was fine. Ate at a local paladar in the evening whilst here, but our travel companions did not rate the hotel meal. (second hand view.) Rooms were a little outdated, but perfectly adequate...

We stopped here as a bathroom break and refreshment break as part of a tour in Cienfuegos. This was our first stop in Cuba. There are only 2 ladies rooms in the lobby and they did have toilet paper (not all bathrooms in Cuba do, so always bring some with you). The bartenders were great. At least one of them...

We finally got lucky with a hotel in Cuba. Maybe because the tourist season had not yet begun or maybe because we mistaken for Angelina and Brad, we ended up with a massive suite which was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The staff members were very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was very enjoyable.

We stayed here just for three nights during our time in Cienfuegos. The hotel is really well located, right in the middle of the town making it a great base to explore from. The rooms themselves are a little dated and our room in particular was very dark, but the pool is beautiful and the rooftop bar/restaurant was brilliant.

Nice centrally located hotel one block away from Plaza de Armas and close to shops. Comfortable well kept room. Delightful pool to the rear with a bar. Delicious evening meal but breakfast was a bit lacking and no black tea available. Staff pleasant and helpful.

My wife and I stayed her for just one night when we were in Cienfuegos. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very dated by our American standards but well appointed. The rooftop bar is awesome. Overall a fine place to stay.

The hotel is clean and nice. There's 2 beautiful and cosy patios. The pool is nice and refreshing. The room smelled mouldy. Bathroom was large and clean and more luxurious than the room itself. There's a "pharmacy" to buy the basics. The hotel restaurant had quite good(but sort of expensive) food in the evening. However they don't serve until 19h...
