In the middle of the little city Cienfuegos, this house brings you back in time. Since the moment you arrive you feel like you belong to a great house from a great family from Colonial times.. Beautiful Casa in the heart of Cienfuegos. Everyone was very humble and the rooms are great and really clean. We had a great time here. Just a few minutes walk away from the center - can only be recommended.

We stayed for 2 nights and it is a very nice Casa to relax, very nicely done, rooms are very clean, staff is very humble and it is nicely located near the center of Cienfuegos. This Casa can only be recommend.

Casa Buena Vista is magnificent: full of art and tastefully decorated, it welcomes you in its huge patio where you'll have the best breakfast in Cuba. The staff is welcoming, helpful and they provide lamps to cope with electricity black outs that often occur in Cuba. They also listen to great music and support a dogs sanctuary that helps stray dogs in distress. If you want you can support this association by leaving your contribution at the casa. The rooms are beautiful and decorated with attention to detail. Breakfast is served with lovely china and you can have a laundry service. The only minor fault is the lack of sunlight in the rooms, due to the fact that they all have windows and doors opening on the patio, which happens to be the common living room and the place where you have breakfast in the morning.…

You wouldn‘t expect such a beautiful lovely gem behind the simple wooden entrance door. We received a hearty welcome. The patio is full of modern wall painting (showing interesting details) which is a perfect match with the classic furniture. The rooms show lovely details and give enough space on two floors. We immediately fell in love with that place. Breakfast is amazing - more than enough and very tasty. You can park your car right in front of the street.

We spend 2 nights in Cienfuegos during our road trip through Cuba. We arrived at mid day, very hot and humid but once inside Casa Buenavista it felt like an oasis! We were welcomed with a glass of the most delicious lemonade and a big smile. The Casa is very tasteful decorated, wonderful breakfast and dinner. Everything here is perfect! Rooms are very comfortable, and although they don't have windows for us that was not an issue at all as we only use the room to sleep. The owners, Ketty & Juan run a shelter for street dogs and Juan very passionate telling about his work. We wanted to volunteer but unfortunately it didn't happen. If I would go back to Cuba, I will definitely stay here again. Muchisima gracias!

Most beautiful Hostal on our Cuba-Trip. It‘s run by a spaniard and his cuban wife. He saves street dogs and has a very good taste for the interior. The walls of the cosy courtyard are telling her own story. Welcomedrink and breakfast were delicious.

Casa Buenavista is really beautiful! Perfectly re-builded respecting the original historical look, it has stylish touches and you can feel the new cuban interior design mood. The patio is wonderful and it is really a dream having breakfast or dinner there ( the table setting is sophisticated and stylish with ver old and elegant porcelain) . Their cuisine is very good ( especially compared with the bad Cienfuegos options) . Truly recommend

The best lemonade and mojito’s! It is a beautiful renovated building. We had a room with two Floors. Everything was clean. The people there are very helpfull and they have a very sweet dog! The breakfast was good and we also had dinner one time. This was also good only a bit too much for me :)!

This place has to be one of the most eclectic places I have ever stayed stayed at... the cool pieces of furniture combined with the art work and antiques scattered all over makes it a spectacular place. The rooms were spotless and had every amenity possible. The breakfast which was one of the best we had in Cuba was served in the most delightful way. The cold lemonade and mint drinks we were offered were a huge welcome from the heat... I can not recommend this place enough
