This place is far enough away from busy Grenville to say it is "a quiet and relaxing getaway". We walked 15 minutes into town daily (downhill) and took the bus back. It stops right in front of the drive way. The room was clean and fresh smelling. The staff (Shamolly and Kim especially) were great and went out of their way to please us. The place was very quiet but had a small pool with bar area, AC and small patio area. Kitchen facilities were limited. Only a kettle, microwave and fridge but Kim was the chef on staff and you could have meals made to order delivered to your unit! Delicious and great price too. I missed having a toaster though! They will do a laundry load if you desire, for a small fee. Our unit could have used a shelf in the kitchen too. The amazing coffee processing plant is two doors away.... great place to learn about cocoa and buy some chocolate.... i bought cocoa beans...fantastic! I loved the smell of fermenting beans from our unit but hubby not so much. Nice location for exploring by bus. We did Grand Etang one day and Belmont Plantation another day.

First, the great things: We got the smaller room and it was perfect for two people! The room was clean, and stocked with clean linen, dishes and clean sheets. I have terrible allergies and there was construction happening outside of our room, but at no point did the dust enter our room. Our front desk attendant, Shamolly Stafford, was one of the best things about this place. She was always pleasant and catered to our needs. A perfect example would be when she offered to let us switch locations to get away from the dust. She also asked if I needed the cleaners to come in every day instead of every other day. Shamolly Stafford made our visit so much more enjoyable. The not so great: While Ms.Stafford was fantastic, the same cannot be said for some of the other staff members we encountered. My husband prefers it really cold when we sleep and I get cold easily. The room came with a light duvet style cover and bed sheets. We asked one of the staff members for an extra blanket and she informed us that they only give one blanket per room. Her reasoning was that the blanket was meant for two people and since the room was meant for only two people, they do not give an extra blanket. Thinking that was odd, my husband went into the office and spoke to a gentleman in there. This gentle man also said, they will not give us an extra blanket. Water pressure also dropped during the day. We were in a second floor room and there was not enough water pressure after 10 am to take a shower. As in, absolutely no water came through the shower head!!!! Aside from those things, it was a delightful stay and was central to where we needed to be at all times. We will definitely stay there again, as long as Shamolly Stafford is there.

This guesthouse is a hidden gem on the opposite side of the island. It's about an hour away from St. George, but less than 10 minutes to Downtown Grenville. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 6 nights. Very friendly staff; highly recommended.

We will return with our without our kids. Loved it! Pick up a mango off the ground...walk around, take in all the colors and sights...tour the chocolate factory right next door...swim...gorgeous and also very affordable. They can arrange transportation, too and recommend where to eat. They call it the country, but 1/2 mile walk from Grenville...easy peasy. Lovely! Smashing! Bully! 4 thumbs up including our toes!

Needed a place to stay for whilst visiting St Andrews parish for business. Valley Breeze was one of the only options for accommodation that came up. After a slow response to communication and a tardiness in confirming my booking, I found the staff to be extremely attentive and helpful. Genuine and caring of my needs, they had a good balance of local character and professionalism. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed, but as someone who was there for work, I must admit a desk and chair would have been a useful addition to the suite. Small point would also be to ensure a cutting board in the kitchen, other than that kitchen was well appointed. The TV was equipped with an Amazon firestick but no one knew the code to access any of the movies etc. didn't matter to me as I was working but that needs sorting out. The bedroom AC was excellent but the rest of the suite does not have AC and got very hot even with windows open so think it might benefit from being added in future. All in all a very comfortable location and the area has a lot to offer the adventurous visitor. Recommended.
