Following our two-night stay at the Manoir Bécancourt,I felf compelled to comment on our experience.Upon arriving,,we were quickly offered an upgrade to the Penthouse since there were some small renovations being done in a few rooms including our.It is basically like a big 4 1/2 with all the commodities.Very charming place.Dinner was equally as good with a 6 course dinner... We stayed at this place for two days while visiting Troise Rivieres, and we really enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere at this hotel. The experience would've been perfect if not for the fact that we got a room that was just above the kitchen, so there was a bit of noise at night when the dishes were being washed.... More

When we arrived we were told that their booking system had booked us in for two days later although we had confirmation of the correct date. Fortunately there was one room left although it was smaller than the one we had originally booked. We had dinner at the hotel and this was a highlight of our three weeks in Canada.... More

We visited en route to Quebec. At the very reasonable price we had no great expectations but we're very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in an old house and on first looks appears a bit old and tired but the rooms have been very well and imaginatively redecorated. The bathrooms are huge with rain showers and standalone tub. The beds... More

We only stayed here for one night - I wish it was longer! There were three of us, and we made a reservation online at very late notice, but I don't think that the owner knew that rooms there were available on booking.com! However, she was very accommodating and made sure that we had everything that we needed. We were... More

What a great time we had at this home! Our host never stopped trying to please her guests. We stayed in the B&W suite and it was large and comfortable. Great bathroom and shower. Wonderful free wifi and phone calls to the US were free too. Our dinner was excellent---the restaurant was full. We were there on a Wed. night.... More

A friend and I stayed here for just one night and were very please. Hotel is very clean and the decoration of our room was very elegant. Beds comfortable and room/hotel very clean. The outdoor area was very nice and had some comfortable furniture, flowers to look at and a hot tub, which we used.

Booked for three nights, arrived early afternoon. All doors locked. Rang bell , got reply, then waited 10 minutes. Walked to side entrance (also locked) finally was met by young lady. Asked about restaurant (the only reason we booked) was informed they were closed the next two nights. Same owner, we were told, owns pub just down the street. Were... More

The room was large and very comfortable. The ensuite had a welcoming clawfoot tub. The manor itself is beautiful with lots of outdoor seating areas and even a hot tub. The restaurant is cozy and the food is outstanding.

We chose Manoir Bécancourt for its quiet, convenient location between Montréal and Québec City. We got so much more; a beautifully-decorated suite, exceptional service from Jasmine, an owner, and from Isabelle who did so many tasks efficiently and kindly. We felt like we were "coming home" each of the 6 nights we returned from visiting the province of Québec. Sophie's... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set in the idyllic Quebecoise countryside, the Manoir Becancourt is an elegant, relaxing, enjoyable and unwinding boutique hotel. This beautiful Victorian Manor built in 1912 has been renovated completely in the past seven years...It is now without a doubt a great example of old architecture mixed with modern design and most of all modern comfort. Our rooms are all unique and decorated with taste and thought, all have private bathroom and modern facilities. The Manoir also now offers an in-house massage facility, a free gym and a free four season hot tub. Our lounge is the perfect place to sip your cocktail next to the fireplace looking outside the garden. We are extremely proud of our restaurant that we believe to be the best in the region Centre du Quebec and Mauricie, we pride ourselves on serving great simple food made with great local products and Mediterranean flair, our service is discrete and most of all welcoming and accommodating. Here we celebrate the pleasure of relaxation and the art of "Bien Vivre." Also for those who need to be connected the Manoir offers all modern technologies and conference facilities. The Manoir is situated just five minutes from the industrial Park of Becancour. Also today available at a short distance our brand new English Pub "The Smoked Pig Pub" where you will be able to enjoy Draft Beers, Wine, Cocktails and Comfort Food. ... more   less
